While not understanding its well known Lavey actually used plagiarism from the book Might Makes Right, by Arthur Desmond [Ragnar Red Beard] for certain sections of the Satanic Bible.

It's not the first time someone has lobbed the "plagiarism" accusation about, but it's still infuriating because it's patently untrue. All one has to do is look. Every article/sermon that references material has citations. Often with in-text citations even, which aren't even explicitly necessary in this type of setting. This is a particularly see-through attack.

I said recently that people need to make sure we are a million billion trillion - gazillion Brazillian - percent amazing with zero things wrong or bad...but they will still try and make - when they cannot find - reasons and excuses. "Muh too-lazy-to-check-citations sadz."

The Cult argument is so retarded, coming from LaVeyans. They are literally called after the literal surname of their main center man, LaVey. Without LaVey the CoS simply collapsed as there was nobody to play the church organ and do the flashy rituals that kept the "Definitely not a cult" going. Somehow, we are the cultists instead, who no instagram face, require no subscriptions for learning, and so forth.

The sheer fact is in his video he does state we are cult. But he is actually stating a anti-JoS meme coming from people who created anti-JoS movements.

Basically he mis-interpreted cult when he forgot to state: eCult or electronic Cult. So in other words he states we are a cult in the electronic frontier without/forgetting to state eCult.

How far have you guys delved into anti-JoS people, groups, and or organizations?

I'm curious as to how far some of these guys try and lurch forward and trip us up. I've done some light research but perhaps it didn't satisfy me enough.

(I merely wish to have a more solid ground on which to understand the situation. Much like high priest posts on this thread.)

I do not care for anti-jos people as they never have an argument and only emotional babbling on why they FEEL it is bad to criticise Yehuborim, why they FEEL meditation is not important, why they FEEL we are a strange group when in reality everything is here, open and transparent and we force nobody to anything. Everything is free also knowledge wise.

This is something that they hate considering they sell bullshit in books such as how to do the Yogic basic breath.

I could care less about their underhanded attacks personally as this is totally unmanly and deceitful. Since most of these guys just HAPPEN to be Yehuborim, it makes it even more obvious.

Most are also just lacking any form of education on what terms they throw around. Terms like cult, plagiarism, and so forth, are things that have a definition, and if you do not know it, you cannot use it to argue.

Even what I write here is for people to read mostly to not get caught in their useless accussations.

In the end of the day we become bigger and stronger, and we improve ourselves with meditation, and all they do is whine.

I dunno, mayn. I rolled a fat blunt and checked out The Vampire's Temple like he recommended (he does have one hellavu neckbeard) and it looks like they might be able to teach this old dog some new tricks. I think I might start wearing a cape.

I had a similar thought when this shitty argument squirmed its way back into the zeitgeist. They seemingly act like it'd be preferable that everything on the site and forums be information given directly by the Gods to be shared here - and in the scenario where that actually is the case, they'd complain that we're not corroborating with other independent sources so it's just personal ramblings. It all boils down to the same conclusion of it not being worth the time to persist in that struggle.
