What do you think of Diogenes the Cynic? He was a truly philosopher and spiritually elevated, or he was just a excentric?

His way of life was completely contrary to playing the game of life and living a full life.
Diogenes was mentioned in the Temple of Zeus, I still have to learn about him, all I can say is that based on what I read he achieved some form of Eudaimonia, That's why even Alexander the great respected him a lot.
