I just got an e-mail from this site that sends me petitions mostly about animal cruelty or poisons in our food, using said shooting to try and repeal the stand your ground law. as far as I remember, this law makes it so if you think someone is going to commit a violent felony against you or another, you can put a bullet in their head. like if your a girl walking down a back alley who gets approached by a bunch of gang bangers, this makes it so you can pull out your gun and shoot them if you think they're going to try and rape you.

Im in the Army and we have so many rules of engagement that we cant really do our job anymore. Say you were just in a firefight and you come up on the people that just shot at us, if they are still alive we cant kill them unless they are going for a weapon or whatever. An application? What state do you live in? In Ohio you can go to a gun store or gun show and buy a gun and leave with it. We (ohioians) have to fill out a background check and the dealer calls the FBI, and as long as your not a felon or any other red flags pop up you take the gun and leave. I have a mossberg 12 gauge, the one with a heat shield on the barrell and a pistol grip. I might have to get this one some day though

<td val[/IMG]Yes I went to local walmart 2 weeks ago,and filled out a background check form,and I am still waiting to be approved.I have a friend that will sell me one of his,but I want to try to go through the right channels first.Then I will resort to that.I have never really liked guns myself,but when I was a OTR truck driver,I had a sawed off 20 gage in my sleeper,and a 22 Derringer in my pocket for protection.But I have not owned one in over 25 years.

If there's an actual gunshop in your area try that, I'm still kinda confused about what you said. You filled out a background check 2 weeks ago and its still hasn't been processed. Either they aren't doing anything or your state has crazy gun laws. Also its perfectly legal to buy a gun from someone who isn't a gun dealer.
You said you used to be an OTR trucker, I'm a transport loader/unloader where I work it seems half the drivers are eastern European and barely speak english. Someday I'm going to start asking them for a green card before I load/unload their trucks.

<td val[/IMG]At Walmart you have to fill out this whole application,and get on the computer and answer a lot of questions.Then they call it in,and you have to wait for the approval.Just more red tape to keep us from our Constitutional right to own a gun.If I ever get this one,I will never give it up.They may not ever let me get another one.I live in Alabama.Not sure how tough they are here,but it is pissing me off,that I have had to wait this long.

Its kind of like what Don Danko said about how the jews are having to do damage control and admit more and more. I think that if our government actually had the power to be the police state that alex the jew jones says they are they wouldn't be wasting their time in congress passing laws. Ohio still has castle doctrine, which means if you feel threatened on your property you can defend yourself.



A few years ago in Cleveland a man was sitting on his porch when to black kids walked up to him, one of them had a gun. The man shot both of them, one died the other was charged with murder. Sometimes justice prevales.

I just got an e-mail from this site that sends me petitions mostly about animal cruelty or poisons in our food, using said shooting to try and repeal the stand your ground law. as far as I remember, this law makes it so if you think someone is going to commit a violent felony against you or another, you can put a bullet in their head. like if your a girl walking down a back alley who gets approached by a bunch of gang bangers, this makes it so you can pull out your gun and shoot them if you think they're going to try and rape you.
