With the rising tide of radical xianity and islam, it’s not exactly safe to be all open about this stuff, even with the political stuff being removed.

Even in Western countries islam is still rising and that might create a reaction of radical xianity to resurrect as a “defender” of “Western values”. Radicals are the most politically active so they tend to take over during times of crisis, as seen in history.

Over the time I have heard as arguments that "enemies" would come in and do the following:

If I have understood something about this world is that no matter what, some people never recognize nothing. It doesn't matter what it is.
