WARNING: Do not perform this breath if you are prone to seizures! You are likely to trigger a seizure, and depending on your condition, you could seriously hurt yourself. Seizures occur when the electrical activity in the brain becomes sudden and excessively abnormal—which is exactly what happens with this breathing technique, as it ascends energy from the base to the crown chakra, creating a powerful energy current that passes through the brain.

This disclaimer applies to everyone else as well. For a healthy person, this breath is 100% safe; however, don’t be surprised if you experience momentary jerking, twitching, involuntary vocalizations, etc. This is a normal response when you suddenly have 100 times the usual amount of energy flowing through your brain—you can’t help it. In fact, the energy can be so powerful that it completely knocks you out. These episodes last only a few seconds, until your brain adjusts to the energy surge.

This usually happens only during the first couple of days you practice this breath. After that, the brain adapts to the increased levels of bioelectricity, and you won’t experience it again. However, going several days without performing this breath will lower your tolerance for bioelectricity back to your previous baseline—so be aware.

To work, this breath requires an arousal in the central nervous system—i.e., a powerful emotion. An analogy everyone can understand is orgasm: if you're not aroused, you can masturbate all day and never reach orgasm. Likewise, the greater the arousal, the stronger the orgasm.

This breathing technique works the exact same way. You can do this breath perfectly forever, but without emotional arousal, nothing will happen for you. The stronger the arousal, the stronger the energy release.

And I’m not talking about sexual arousal here. You have to do this breath with a level of intensity that completely moves you out of your resting state. This means you must do it with passion, excitement, inspiration, etc. This is by no means a passive breath—it requires the involvement of your whole being.

If you can’t work yourself up to a state where you feel these emotions so strongly that the hair on the back of your neck stands up, don’t even attempt this breath. You’ll just frustrate yourself and likely give up on mastering it.

The reason for this is that without emotion, energy doesn’t move. Think of emotion as energy in motion (e-motion). Emotion releases energy from the chakras, and your visualization directs it.

Feeling is the most important component of magick. To generate power, every member must feel strongly about the goal. Each person must hold a vivid image of the end result in mind. That visualization is what channels the energy.

Prerequisite Steps to Performing the Breath

The most important prerequisite is the mental preparation for what you’re about to do. You need an elevated emotional state to get your energy moving. If you can’t find a reason to be excited about doing this breath, just remember: learning how to raise the life-force is a prerequisite to raising the serpent. This breath will give you a taste of the Godly power within you.

Find a safe place to sit, away from sharp corners or walls. Personally, I sit on the side of my bed—this way, even if the energy knocks me out, I won’t hurt myself, as I can only fall backward or to the sides, both of which are safe. The first time I did this, I hit the wall behind me and hurt my head, so be careful! It’s possible to do this breath lying down, but that’s more advanced and I don’t recommend it when starting out.

Don’t do this breath right after having an orgasm or eating a meal. This breath works by drawing energy from the lower three chakras and ascending it upward—it will be far less potent if you're depleted. Plus, you won’t be able to do the abdominal lock properly on a full stomach.

Raising the Life-Force

The breathing exercise is as follows:

1. Place your attention on the crown of your head and keep it there throughout the exercise.

2. Take a slow, steady breath.
  • Immediately after, contract your perineum and then your abdominal muscles.
  • Visualize energy being drawn from your base chakra, moving up through all of your main chakras, and exiting through the crown.
  • Keep inhaling until your lungs reach the desired capacity.
[All of the above happens simultaneously]

3. Hold your breath at the top for as long as you feel comfortable.
  • While holding your breath, contract your muscles and squeeze the bandhas even more than before—as much as you can. This part is extremely important!
4. Exhale slowly and evenly.

This sequence constitutes one rep. Continue performing it until the energy exits through the crown. For me, it took about 10 breaths the first time. You’ll know when you’re close—just like with an orgasm, you can feel it coming.

The bandhas are the most crucial part of this exercise. The two bandhas involved are:
  • The standard mula bandha (root lock).
  • The second one is an abdominal lock.
The correct way to perform the abdominal lock is as follows:
  • Contract the lower abdominals first by pulling the abdomen in and up.
  • Contract the upper abdominals immediately after.
Proper muscle control is essential for performing this breathing technique, as nothing will happen if you cannot inhale and contract your muscles in the correct order. Personally, I practiced engaging both bandhas for a while before attempting the full breath, to build muscle memory. That’s the “difficult” part.

The inhale must be slow and steady. You need to give yourself enough time to visualize and apply the bandhas as you inhale, so don't rush.

When you hold your breath at the top, only hold for as long as is comfortable. This is very important! If you’re turning purple or straining, you’re doing it wrong. The key to this breathing technique is maintaining momentum. You can take a few normal breaths between reps to rest, but waiting too long (more than 30–45 seconds) will cause the energy to begin descending again. The goal is to rest just enough to avoid gasping for air or losing concentration—but not so long that you lose momentum.

Personally, I don’t fill my lungs to maximum capacity, as this prevents me from holding the abdominal lock properly. I aim for about 90% or less—just not the maximum.

Squeezing the bandhas even more while holding your breath is extremely important and is probably the most important part of this exercise. It’s like squeezing out the last bit of toothpaste—it makes all the difference, so make sure you do it!

For the first 2–3 breaths, you likely won’t feel much. For me, I really started to feel the energy once it reached my abdomen. After it passed my heart chakra, I felt it pour down my arms. When the energy reached my head, everything became very quiet, and I experienced intense focus. Once it finally moved through the crown, I felt a sudden heat and the sensation that my whole body was sweating—even though I wasn’t sweating physically. When the energy exits through the crown, you’ll experience a physical sensation akin to being bathed in light. It feels exactly like this picture looks:

Unlike orgasm, which cannot be used to raise energy before engaging in ritual or magic (it actually depletes energy), this breath creates an energy current that feeds into itself and is self-sustaining. Aside from releasing an insane amount of energy, this breath has the curious side effect of clearing emotional blockages and hangups. Shame, guilt, trauma, fears—basically everything that holds you back mentally on an unconscious level—is stored energetically in the chakras. As energy moves up the chakras, it increases in frequency and is transmuted into a higher form, thus freeing you. There are many other benefits, but this article is already long enough—so you’ll have to experience them for yourself!

This is a very good method for this you have shared, thank you TG Power of Justice.

One thing I want to mention though, is once the kundalini energy is circulated and strong enough, this can be done and circulated from the back to front in a ouroboros configuration through the main channels along the back to front without the bandhas or breathing techniques, and by just will and direction of the focus alone.

This varies I'm sure on a case by case basis, but would be something to try. I have used this to stimulate and achieve very heightened states and also induce bilocation with the astral body with my focus divided. That may be something to attempt with the breathing exercise you have shared.

Thank you for this Brother.

I love the explanation being as reading a chemistry/physics article. Great description and looking forward to checking it out.

I thought it does both, or is HPS Lydia referring to something different here?: https://ancient-forums.com/threads/77616-what-do-orgasms-do-on-a-spiritual-level.301231/post-1145084
Orgasm creates energy, when used correctly, but it does not stay in the lower 3 chakras (unless directed to do so).

For most men, they feel depleted after orgasm (for women too after a lot of orgasms, but the first 5 or don't deplete unless the woman has poor nutrition or other factors; but even for women, orgasm releases energy from the lower chakras which is not for this technique posted).

Most people don't know what to do with orgasms, they let the energy go away and dissipate.

For the purpose of the technique here by TG Power of Justice, orgasm energy is usually dissipated, so don't do this after you've orgasmed. This is different than the Ascending Energy meditation on the ToZ.

Can we use this technique to raise energy before a ritual?

Thanks TG ! It was a great experience for me, in the first breaths I felt a warmth, then it was as if my body had gotten used to it, then my crown chakra became cold, in the meantime I felt a different sensation in my body, I felt like I was going to pass out but I didn't. I thought it was just that, but then I noticed that I was getting quieter and more focused and I decided to do the void meditation and wow! I've always found it hard to concentrate, but today it was absurd how focused and calm I felt. Then I lay down and I could feel the energy pulsating for a long time and then it was "spinning" just like you showed in the image and there was a certain weight both in my head and in my body ! 🙏🙏
But at the end of it all a good feeling came to me.
