Ancient Egypt Technique For Opening the Palm Chakras

Is it normal that in Opening of the Hands it's a bit hard to keep the fingers touching each other? Should I go slower?

I tried to go slower, to keep as much gentle contact as possible. Maybe it doesn't matter, but that's how I'm doing it (*handrubbing intensifies*).
