The Cyclical Flow Of Advancing Spiritually

AvatarHigh Priest Zevios Metathronos6 min to read

I am writing this topic to clarify some topics. When you begin meditating or even when you advance, there is a cycle that will take place that is unavoidable. Due to misunderstandings around of what I will write here, many people mistake certain parts of the cycle for actually not advancing; which is totally false. Let me explain.

First, you might start meditations - there could be exhaustion or a surge of major power. For example, the first few days you do a meditation.

Then, despite of the above, you must continue; normalization takes place. Normalization means you will not be "totally shocked" anymore from meditation, nor exhaust yourself.

When normalization settles in, you must keep going. Similar to physical work in the gym, you are growing and you will go through small cycles (stumbling, doing it perfectly, then falling a bit, then coming up far stronger) within the context of you continuing.

As you continue and you maintain continuity -> Power grows despite of how you might be feeling. Somatic or Physical feelings can be conflated sometimes as result of meditation but they are not. As the body transmutes to handle greater amounts of energy and the soul awakens, you will go through re-adjustment phases.

Example in the body: You do a meditation and you feel a bit tired - simulatenously, the soul has grown in power, the power is there. The body might need rest or might be good to go, depending on adjustment. The soul however has imparted the work; and since they are starting to unite, there could be elation or tiredness. If you go too far in either way (extreme exhaustion or extreme elation) then you must balance out things and know you are overdoing it. Cut a little back, and try to stay "in the middle".

These phases, if they happen, they prove to you that the meditations have really started working. Especially more advanced practictioners will understand what I mean clearly by this.

If you deny this and continue meditating and imparting more and more energy, without taking the cycles in consideration, there are two potential ways to go:

1. Overexertion in pressure -> Fatigue -> "I am fried I cannot do this anymore" -> If continued further and not balanced -> Potential breakdown or inability to continue.
2. Overexertion in elation -> I am feeling super invincible -> I am feeling supreme nothing can stop me (stress builds up in the background) -> attempt to maintain this constantly (not feasible) -> Fatigue that is generated from a higher fall -> Fried -> Long way to go up.

Both of these scenarios are essentially the same, it's not having found balance. As one meditates constantly they will understand clearly what I mean here - many of us had to endure both circles until we found a balance.

For those who are starting out, just follow the basic guidelines and just keep the general rules here in mind. How these operate in the actual journey to spiritual growth, will show themselves on their own, so do not worry.

An example: You started meditating for 20 days; nothing so far. Then you go to 40 days; eventually you start feeling buzzes, energy, your senses spiritually sharpen, or an elevated sense of wellbeing. Then you continue for 10 days and this goes away and/or is replaced by mild tiredness. If manageable, continue. Then, after 10 days of this you get 5 days of supreme elation; time to continue but "balance it out" and not ride the wave all the way to the "top" - especially if you cannot maintain a constant meditation schedule.

Balance is basically to stay in the middle of both waves; push the limits when you can, control how you will manage after breaching those limits, respect yourself as you need balance after breaking them.

Essentially the case here is like running or jogging. Pace > everything else. If you pace yourself in a balanced way, you will advance tremendously. During the jog, you can sprint many times, but you cannot sprint all the time and expect to go the full distance.

Your body and soul are completing circles and it's important to not allow yourself to crash from a higher level of power, nor allow yourself to dwindle down after major sprints. You must persist in the middle line with duty and keep going.

The cycles will continue and how you know a cycle is over, is when no matter if you do a certain meditation or not, the effects are there.

To give another example: One evokes a God. One might get a very powerful impression from this depending on how open you are. Then, you might do this again and not get literally shocked out of your system; both events are equally real and operational. Difference is: you have adjusted better. Adjustment is NOT your enemy and it must not be mistaken for "weakness" or "lack of progression", but rather as a healthy route which means certain things and sensitivities are giving way to actual power.

Consistent shocks and extreme "sensitivity" is not good if destabilizing. It's only good to be open when you have power + stability to be open. When one reaches this point they will understand what I mean. The difference between this point and when one starts out, is that the same event happens, but you are not pressed on limits from it. That's key and means your battery (spiritual power level) has grown; you can still experience strong elation there and all these things, but you will not be "shocked" from voltage anymore so to say.

The example of a mastered person here, would be that they neither get shocked or fall down too low from when they encounter a God (ie, there is less high and less low - there is a sense of power arising from the middle, balanced and positive). The power is there but it's not tiring or taxing, and one is well connected regardless of anything.

I've been at a point for awhile where it's like I used to have strong experiences and conversations with the Gods, but they have taken a strong step back so I can strongly materially advance with a job path, plans at education and just building upon my family life as a father and husband.

Like it's almost like I don't have much time to advance, but I still am keeping consistent with everything and growing. Personally, it seems a bit confusing for me, as I had a long period in my life where all I did was advance spiritually.

It's almost like they want me to "catch up" strongly in this aspect.

“Come to me, O Lord IAO, great Zeus-Ammon, hidden fire, all-seeing one, ram-horned, first and last, who rules from the sun.”
PGM V.96–172

“I am Atum, when I was alone in Nun. I am the beginning and the end.”

This answered a concern I have with my own advancement. I'll definitely come back to this sermon a couple more times.

I notice that I go through up and downs of energy levels, and when im on a low, I worry my workings are failing because of a lack of energy (but I may be conflating physical sensation with spiritual power).

So as always Great High priest, we must always trust in what we are doing and allow the growth to happen through meditation. One must understand that there are times when we will feel more and times when we won't feel as much. As you say we are adjusting which is a good thing and means we are gaining more power in our souls which is the true growth we are all striving for. Balance and consistency are very important here, yet at the same time we must always be aware of how we are feeling if we are upping our meditation routine or adding to it in some way. I too have thought that when i get a strong impression by doing a God ritual and connecting with them that getting a surge of energy is supposed to happen always, then when it isn't as strong the next times i have thought maybe i was burnt out or that i may have done something wrong. Even though i have prepared the same way for the God ritual. Thank you for your advice as always HP, we all appreciate it greatly and have a long ways to go. This is part of the journey however and must be cherished. May you all be blessed by the Gods.

HAIL ZEUS, THE CLERGY and the GODS!!
Seek challenges, they bring growth.
Stay the path, your consistency will pay off.
Continue to be optimistic.
negativity is a tool, not a reactionary system inside us.
You cannot help others if you do not understand the self first.

The challenge, the suffering, shows you what you are capable of in life. If one isn't tested into action, then it only remains as potentiality.

Great timing for this sermon, High Priest. I am at a point currently where I need to cut back a bit, or I will push it too far. I am always the type to keep pushing myself no matter what even if my entire body is about to give out. I have been like this with everything in life, the good and the bad. This just gave me the confirmation I needed, thank you.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I have failed many times over the years.

In hatha yoga, I often overstretched my back in backbends. I was in pain for days. But then somehow I found the balance.
But unfortunately I could not improve from camel pose. My goal would be to get the kapotasana.

Thank you for this Sermon, High Priest. This well help beginners tremendously!
I am always excited for Sermons like these that can be directly forwarded to beginners to clarify specific topics in a detailed and precise manner.

Thank you High Priest for this sermon🙏

Understanding my limits was one of the most important lessons when I first started, especially concerning the workings I would create. I would set these up with too many runes or rune repetitions which not only burned me out, but I couldn't even finish the workings themselves. This caused a lot of wasted effort towards the goals I was hoping to achieve and issues I was hoping to resolve.

These experiences made me learn the hard way, which isn't always the best for anyone new starting off. The odds are better for everyone to understand this now, than later.

I've been waiting for a thread like this for a long time, High Priest.
When I tried to explain this, no one listened to me.
The balance between everyday life and spiritual life is necessary for a healthy life that is conducive to evolution.
Spiritual balance is not something that is easily achieved; it takes discipline and consistency. It's easy to be active for just twenty days, thinking you're invincible and super powerful, but does anyone want to talk about the daily routine of meditation? If meditation is to transform into evolution, it must become part of the daily routine and, above all, a pleasure. Feeling obliged to meditate leads to the conclusion that it's not even worth doing.

What about when you do more than you should because you believe you are powerful and super advanced? There are meditations for every level precisely because you have to start from scratch. A beginner will never be able to perform advanced meditations, and this must be respected. Meditations suited to our level lead to spiritual balance and, consequently, to our evolution.
If you believe that you will evolve easily simply by already performing a meditation for astral projection, you are only living in a dream world.
On this path, you have to be concrete and rational. It is not a fairy tale, it is not a legend, it is not a made-up story. It is reality.
Do you want to evolve? Respect yourself and you will find balance.

Thank you HP, be blessed by the Gods

There have been Schedules, that leave me with an enjoyable feeling of being high on energy. With some schedules, I feel like just doing my duty, nothing *special*.
This Sermon clarifies a lot and makes me feel gratitude towards the High Priest.
Thank You!

You may not believe me, High Priest, but just last night I was talking to Father Zeus about my constant sense of inadequacy and my feeling that I haven't made any progress at all... and now I read this sermon.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, truly. You are so precious for Us all. 🤍

Thank you High Priest, this sermon helps me a lot to understand how meditation works.

During the schedule of the Grand ritual of Zeus, there was one day that I felt the energy like Ive never felt it before. But the next, it wasn't the same sensation. I felt like I did incorrectly, but it was my soul adjusting.

Thats really interesting, I have often struggled with feeling like I keep hitting roadblocks for a recent example:I do a jupiter square and feel a massive wave of energy pulse through me and the "halo" effect for hours afterwards but then the next jupiter square I felt less and then the next square I feel nothing at all, I always assumed that meant I had overdone it and needed to scale my workings back to replenish but are you saying its actually normal and I should just continue and this is just me getting used to the energy?

I just find it so hard to figure out when I am depleted or "burned out" verses just becoming used to the energy as I have never really felt the normal "burnout or fried" symptoms, for me when I go too far I just feel spiritually numb and have trouble feeling energy or maybe I have never even reached burnout and this is just the desensitization, but I really dont know how to tell if its burnout or normal as for me they either feel very very similar or I have never even felt burnout.

Thank you for the sermon High Priest.

Thank you for the wonderful sermon, High Priest. This explains all the ups and downs I have experienced over the past five years of daily meditation. There were times when it felt like falling into the depths of despair and disappointment, then came a phase of absolute euphoria. These extremes began to diminish over time, and now I have reached a level of balance where I no longer experience these extremes—neither euphoria nor distress. but rather a balanced force that creates a balanced euphoria, which is different from the emotions I experienced before. The spiritual ascent now occurs in a balanced and steady manner without extremes; extreme emotions feel like an unwanted part of my old self has been shed. In all of this, I must emphasize that the ritual from the Sacred Rituals has contributed the most, as they are the most powerful and purifying.

By studying you will find that Zeus is the true God of humanity and the pre-Christian Gentile Gods/Demons are our trusted guides. We realize our origin from our God Zeus. We transform our souls through the daily practice of power meditation. Through this practice we ascend to higher levels as Gods and manifest our true potential

Very good advice, I've seen too many members burn out caused from frustration of not getting that meditation buzz like they did before.

Relating to this, here is another example I have heard members worried about, and I just experienced it myself: After yesterday's Ritual for Forcas, I saw Him very clearly. Today I did not. Should I assume He doesn't want me to see Him anymore? No, because I know that the Gods don't need to show Themselves to me every time. I saw Him yesterday, that is a huge honor in itself and does not need to be repeated every ritual.
