Question #4177: laws and the complete subjectivity of them regardless of their effects on groups and individuals

my question is why do people tolerate laws that are openly harmful to it's own citizens and toward other Countries yet a lot of people brag about how this law is wrong or unjust yet enforce it and follow it while talking nonsense about global HUMAN RIGHTS while not truly making this a reality. Why do the same people who complain about open borders of the United States for example claim that it's "illegal" when the biden administration has this as currently "legal" and think that changing a "law" will fix this when the people in power can just ignore said "laws" and not follow it themselves as they usually do for themselves while people who enforce "laws" don't always enforce them and can get away with breaking the "law" themselves. nowadays a "crime" by it's definition is any act currently deemed "illegal" regardless of whether it's harms individuals or communities.

why do most people not think about this and just go along with it seriously why even when said "laws" and governments don't give a shit about them in the first place.
