I just wanted to share this tidbit of information with the group.

In music there are seven notes in most scales. There are also seven chakras. Each chakra has a different vibration as does each note.

It is also interesting to know that there are a total of 12 notes in a chromatic scale. Chromatic scales include every note. There are seven regular notes and then five accidentals or sharps and flats. There are also twelve total major/minor chakras in the body. These twelve include the seven main chakras, the hip chakras, the shoulder chakras and the sun chakra.

It has also been speculated (and most likely proven) that chords or singular notes can illicit the vision of colors in the mind. (ex. this note sounds green) These colors also correspond to colors of the rainbow, our chakras. There are also times when people will see other colors such as brown but these most likely are vibrations of our hip chakras.

I believe that these numbers and colors correlate on purpose. They correlate because life is in the breath and the breath creates vibration and these vibrations show up in sound and color.

I don't know if this helps anyone with anything but it IS interesting. Enjoy.

i find it really intersting actually.

but i believe that you could experience these things and visuals from doing the "sound meditation".

ive also discovered from this website,

http://www.peacefulmind.com/energy_medicine.htm#Chakra

the musical notes for each chakra, i believe that you can vibrate the note corresponding to the chakra to most likely open them(or when performing any work on them)

just scroll down the page, sadly though, it does hold false information about the Heart chakra,

the musical notes *might* be correct. i havent tried any other but the Third eye chakra.

it is a succes. musical note. A

I am continuing work on this. Maybe this can help with people opening their souls. :)

I however have my doubts about some things. First. As we increase our bioelectricity and therefore our vibration would the chakra sound need to change? Your vibration is changing is there a correlation?

Second. Did the people just get lazy and write down a Cmajor scale and say it was correct?

Time will tell. I will find out today.

Yes it was weird for me too... c major... but i tried it while visualizing energy to the corresponding chakras and it worked... maybe it's just my imagination but it worked for me... it makes sense though... if you think before music (is there a time when no music existed?)... the first one to invent the notes would have some kind of logic... i could also name the first note of the major scale to be the same note that vibrates the root chakra... maybe that's what music was invented for... as a tool or technique for primitive man to advance his energy system... but it's all speculation

I'm not sure if different scales will have the same result... it's interesting to find out though

About the vibrations... i think you have to find what kind of sound vibrates your body... i have a bass voice (range from C2 to G4 if you know what i mean) so while i sing the c major scale (C3 to B3) it vibrates throughout my body and chakras... another person with a different voice range (like a soprano) might have to do it in a higher scale and see what works to vibrate his/her chakras

I don't think the amount of bioelectricity has any relation to the pitch of the vibration... but i don't know, it might have
