Invoking the elements and increasing ones vibration

Ive read that when one invokes an element that that increases your vibration the most simple way and the most effectively. I know that constant power meditation will always increase your vibration basically no matter what you do but is this true?

because i have thought about it....youre taking in the building blocks of the universe. the best way to set yourself on fire is by standing in a fire, not soaking yourself in gasoline and sitting in a pile of leaves...no offence but that seem logical.
