Depends on the meditations, the environment and oneself.
Hm. Perhaps one has to make mistakes before one knows one's limits? (Which makes sense in a Saturnian way: Limits and learning the hard way are both Saturnian. Proper planning, structure, also Saturnian)
Positive effects for me:
1. Emotions: happiness, fulfillment, excitement.
2. I seem to have a better outlook on life than normal. (I can get a bit depressed sometimes.)
3. Feeling more balanced, clearer mind, more powerful.
4. More physical energy and strength.
If it starts affecting your normal functioning in life too much then you may have gone to far. Things like:
1. Insomnia
2. Hyper-emotionality/large mood swings.
3. Can't think/speak properly.
4. Indigestion: Excess stomach acid.
I live with a small amount of the above negative effects. I prefer to be on the very edge of my limits as I highly value efficiency.

Weigh the positives to the negatives in terms of the effects of the meditation.
