Raising The Life-Force [Breathing Technique]

I don't know why, but I've never read it before...

Thank you very much Sg I tried it and it is very powerful, but I have a doubt, when the exhalation is made the bandha should be released? I did it gradually as I was exhaling, but I don't know if it's the right way.
Yes, release the bandhas in the most comfortable way for you. The release shouldn't be too sudden, like dropping weights; it should be even and gradual.

...I have found that after successfully performing this breath for the first time, my understanding of energy and how it relates to my body and soul has increased exponentially.

I'm extremely grateful for your work on this! I cannot overstate the advancement that the JoS has experienced. Our brothers, sisters and our clergy have pushed far above and beyond any and all expectations. Truly inspiring! I also find it beautiful how this meditation creates a torus shape, much like that of the magnetic field of magnets and our planet.

In the event of falling over, this technique of sitting at the side of a bed is a great idea. I'd like to ask, since there are abdominal muscle contractions involved, is it best to be sitting in an upright position?

I found that I like laying on my back when going into a deep trance. For this meditation as well, is a moderate trance good enough (not too deep of a meditative state prior?) I tend to get into some state of trance prior to most of my workings, though much of this I suspect could be a lack of my own advancement as such can be achieved much faster and easier over time.

Thank you for sharing this information and for putting such incredible work into it.

Yes, sit upright. Trance is not necessary here, as the act of performing this breath is likely to jolt you out of it unless you are extremely good at trancing.

All you need for this breath is passion. You need to be excited about it, which can be difficult if you've plateaued and haven't seen results from your meditations in a long time. The first time I did this was honestly out of frustration, as I had plateaued in my own development, but after I did it once, my understanding of energy changed completely. I felt it so viscerally and so physically, it was undeniable. There's nothing like your first time with this breath. It is exactly as High Priestess Maxine describes Daemon invocation to feel like.
