Peace is a double edged sword i have been finding out, It is good to have balance and calm in ones life however peace is also stagnation in another form. It is complacency, something which we should never adhere to completely as Zevists. We must always challenge ourselves, some more than others, for we can become rooted in stagnation. With stagnation comes lack of growth via laziness, we become too comfortable in our ways or positions. If one becomes cognizant of peace within themselves good yes, however look to see if while embodying this peace if you still challenge yourself and continue to grow and change. If not you must change your course immediately, lest you become comfortable with nothing happening. Not everyone is like this, others keep continuing to grow and challenge themselves. There are however some who become too comfortable in this peace, one must always be aware of what is going on from within to counteract this.

Natural Deodorant.

I have been making my own deodorant for years now, unlike store bought deodorant this deodorant actually removes unwanted smells. Its easy and quite cheap to make, so I wanted to share the recipe that I have been using with all of you. This may help a lot in these soaring hot days


Recipe:

1 part coconut oil
1 part baking soda
1/2 part Bicarbonate (This stuff is great for removing any unwanted smells, can also be used in for example smelly shoes. Besides that its great for cooking as it traps moisture & fats in meat, making it nice and juicy.)
Essential oil's to preference, a couple of drops per 100ml should be enough. (I use Cedar + Sandalwood, works quite well for men)

Mix the above ingredients in a bowl, now its ready to be applied or stored. Since coconut oil has such a low melting point its best to prepare this when temperatures are below 23 decrease celcius, you can however still prepare it when it is in liquid form, its just a little bit more tedious.

I feel it is important to give each other kind words. But it is also very important to also encourage each other so that the fire within us continues to burn brightly. Add-on for your daily cleaning of the soul.

For a long time I used to clean my soul by only reciting the negative parts, never focusing on the positives. Negatives being negative energies, curses, thought-forms etc. Positives being the bright white gold light / energy of the sun. This can cause you to start cursing yourself & programming your sub-conscious to only focus on the negatives. Since a year or so I started focusing more on the positives by using the following:


Before cleaning:

Focus on the white gold light you normally use for cleaning etc. and simply get a feel for the energy, focus on solely this energy. After a while start "programming" this energy / light, by for example reciting: This oh so amazing, powerful, loving, recuperating, empowering light. After reciting this, again simply focus on the energy, and if you can try to invoke a deep loving or positive feeling.

Now after doing this for however long you want start cleaning your soul, this way you empower the working & invoke a more positive energy upon yourself. The words you use can be anything you want, you can make it however long or short as you want. Also the sentence or choice of words do not need to make sense, your intent is what's most important. you can do the above any time you want no need to specifically do this before cleaning the soul, you can do this at any time of day without the need to clean your soul afterwards.

The above has had a good impact on me, it can make cleaning feel more of a fun activity / exercise instead of a chore. I want to thank HPS Lydia for pointing out the importance of positive reinforcement, without this it might have been quite a while before I started to think about it & thus work on it.

My air is light, my thoughts are hopeful, my aspirations are lively and my character is beginning to shift towards balance and harmony.
