I have a problem. When i focus on spot on a wall, for example i see in my mind what i did few minutes ago.. it is like daydreaming. I dont see only a spot on a wall but also other things in my mind. I dont know how to explain this, but if anyone knows what im talking about and knows what to do, please reply to this post. The problem is, i think other things through the day and dont live in a present moment.

In short, you just have to keep trying. You can’t master void meditation overnight; in fact, it’s quite the opposite.
The moment you realize you are seeing or thinking about something else, just bring your focus back to the object you are focusing on.
Don't get discouraged; you just need training.

I recommend any sermon by High Priest when he discusses the difference between visions and an unrested mind. This recent post is particularly helpful.
The very purpose of practicing discipline of void meditation is to not allow your mind to think of anything it wants and daydream, but to focus on the dot. Keep at it, develop the discipline.

SG alchemist, you made comment on quality of my messages and i am not even clergy,
so i have right to do so in relation to your replies,
They look generic to me, and they can entirely be replaced by vultus ai which is already integrated, he also always goes deeper than you.

You are free to criticize my replies. But just because you didn't like my reply in another thread, it is not mature behavior to go into unrelated topics and provide nothing useful to the discussion besides commenting on the length of my reply.
Since you like to write very long posts, you should also understand that length is not a synonym for quality, and not every simple question needs an essay as an answer. Sometimes a short and direct answer is all that is needed, like in this case.

I offer my sincere apology for my conduct in this thread. My remarks were inappropriate and fell short of the standards expected within this community. I take full responsibility for my words and acknowledge that they were out of order🙏🏻

I find starring at a candle the best method of void meditation. The mind will wander and when you realise it has just shift your attention back to the flame.
OR You can also sit in complete stillness, let everything be as it is and rest as the silence in which sensations come and go. (Thoughts, sounds, feelings etc..) If it arises it will also pass away.

Thank you SG for your mature reaction despite my inappropriate reply🙏🏻
But just because you didn't like my reply in another thread
To be honest. That was the reason, i should have replied to your points instead of commenting in another thread.
it is not mature behavior to go into unrelated topics and provide nothing useful to the discussion besides commenting on the length of my reply.
This is not something two persons will disagree on, and i feel embarrassed reflecting on that,
Yes length is not that important, the most important metric is if the reply was helpful, and no one likes read text walls if the question can be answered briefly. Especially with the current attention span,
That was just me being defensive instead of giving valid feedback,
If it was truly a feedback i should have sent in email or vultus help, sharing here hint that this was just reactive,
I was immature in the first reply, i will not be immature twice and not admit my mistakes.

i agree, additionally, the more one talk the more likely he will make mistakes, so it is always good idea to never talk more than necessary to increase accuracy. Especially one new in the path.
I should learn to journal more, it will at least prevent me from sharing reactive replies.
To add something to this thread:
The problem is, i think other things through the day and dont live in a present moment.
Many think of this in binary way, you either live in present moment or you do not,
In fact, meditation is the very act of bringing your awareness back to the present,
Think of it this way: each time you bring your awareness back to the present, it is a win, the more you do it, the more you will be present,
However, being [ always ] in the present is not something common, it is normal if from time to time you slip, it does not mean you are broken.
it is like daydreaming
Do you mean visualization while your eyes are open?
