What happened??

My one female cat sleeps beside my pillow. Last night, or rather this morning at about 5:30am, I woke up because I was cold. I sat up to pull up my bedding, and my cat sat up also. As I’m reaching for the blanket, she suddenly lets out these terrifying loud screams, grabs ahold of my arm with her claws, and bites right into my hand!! This is the most loving, laidback cat in the universe. After I was able to free my arm and hand, (no idea how, it’s all a blur), she takes off to the end of the bed and sits there for the rest of the night, staring out into the hallway/kitchen. When I told my mother (she doesn’t live with me), she thought maybe the cat sensed something/someone. She doesn’t know anything about JoS. I haven’t done any spells or anything yet. I haven’t even done the dedication yet. My cats is deaf, 16 years old and her name is Kitty. She’s a rescue. I got her when she was 6. Any thoughts on what happened and why would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I think you startled her, and she reacted instinctively. I have two cats. One of which is also sixteen years old. The other,
eight. It is the younger one that lashes out at me when he is startled. Either way, I believe that is what happened.

I am just stating a fact here but if i remenber correctly i remenber watching a documetry and it was talking about the bubonic plague when it first appeared and everything and funny enough it all got started when i think it was a christian surely but it was a church but anyways they decided cats were evil so im pretty sure you can gues what happened next but i will tell you anyway they kill all cats in the city the rats well pretty much started running the place from there no cats mice and rats run rampet and spread disease im pretty sure you get the idea another interesting fact here is people who drink were healthier than those who didn't cause you know boil water kill plague turn it to beer and much better off.
