All,

We made some new upgrades and have moved back to a permanent Matrix/Element setup for Vultus Templorum. Many of you should be familiar with it... except it's been massively upgraded!

Custom themes, mobile notifications, and more. Once you're in, we will slowly get you assigned to your previous rooms.

To connect, please follow this simple attached guide by NG Tyler Tekton.

Everyone who is recently active on Ancient Forums has had their email pre-migrated. All you must do is sign into the new system, enter your email, and click Forgot Password to get a new one. The Forgot Password link does not show up immediately, so you must first enter your Ancient Forums account email and click Continue for it to show up.

If you want to use a mobile app, you must use Element Classic and NOT Element X. The latter does not support our new sign in method. Make sure to follow the attached guide for instructions on connecting via mobile app.

The previous server is being deleted, and non-recoverable. This was not something we really wanted, but the transition was very clean.

Please report issues here or if you need help moving.

EVERYONE WHO HAVE TROUBLE IN MAKING A NEW ACC. NEW USERNAME SHOULDN'T MATCH ON THE OLD ONE. I CHANEGD USERNAME AND FINALLY REGISTERED A NEW ACC.

The instructions were very easy to follow and made the process fast. Funny enough my device's battery died while making a password but I was able to continue where I left off once I got back on.

Can confirm as well. I registered a new account using a different user name with the email I have right now, and then after registration I have changed the user name to the one I use on this forum.

Good midnight SG ApolloAbove, I've been stuck outside the platform for days now trying to figure out why I still can't get in with instructions all followed. This could be because of my old protonmail being used for my account which was [ email redacted ].

I no longer use that protonmail. I use this one instead now: [ email redacted ]

If you are on mobile, try with Element Classic app. not with Element X app.

We currently only support Element Classic app.

For those who still cannot login, it seems like the redirecting URL is wrong, https://vultustemplorum.org/_synapse/client/oidc/callback should be: https://vultustemplorum.org. Changing this seemed to work for me.

Everyone who has problems logging in from your phone, this is what I figured out because the instructions in the OP of this thread did not work for my phone.

1. Open Element Classic app

2. Manually change "matrix.org" to "t.vultustemplorum.org"

3. Use your associated email address to log in, not your username (username didn't work for me).

4. Enter your password [Note: some members say they had to press "forgot password", I didn't have to. It let me log in smoothly.]

5. There will be a prompt to check your email for a 6-digit code

7. Type in that code

8. Accept Element to connect with t.vultustemplorum (otherwise it won't work)

9. Now you are in!

These are all the steps I remember, if there are more please let me know so I can edit this.
