Vibrating unvoiced consonants like S

I've tried to do the 'Veil of Isis' mantra, but I just realized that the consonant 'S' is unvoiced, so I can't feel any vibration, because my vocal cords don't resonate - does this affect the effects of the mantra (or any other word of power)?

Or should I do it with making the 'S' voiced (vibrating Z instead of S)?

I'm a little confused about this matter. Can anyone help?

'S' isn't unvoiced, you hiss it like a snake. And believe me, you will definitely feel it. I feel it like it's clearing up my head, clearing out the fogginess of limited senses. Even though it isn't vibrated like how other letters are vibrated, it still has a powerful effect.

What I feel "S", snake hissing sound to be doing in my mantras is actually opening an important pathway from the back of the neck, into the brain. Thats my own experiance. This is very ancient and primal sound like the bee 'BBBBB'. If you notice, its contained in runes that have to do with the Kundalini. Like Kenaz or Eys.
