I am glad to see you back online HP Friday, I was even wandering the other day what had happened to you. To answer your suspicion yes there are several people from these groups who have sent emails with a virus attatched. I just received another yesterday and al together I would say about a dozen in the past week or two. It seems this problem is only getting worse.

This is not the first time I had to deal with this. The only difference is that this time I choose not to spend a lot of fucking money to get it fixed. I have never worked on laptops before and know nothing of the parts. Yet I was able to dismantle the whole device and put it back together. Thus the reason why im on line know. Also because of of a system restore. Which also wiped all my files and such.
 
Be carfeul as I suspect certain individuals in the groups are sending faulty emails and such.

would like to suggest that you download antivir personal its a free program if it is used for personal use and not for business and have personally found it to be one of the best
it has actually picked up viruses trojans etc that both macafee and norton missed

No just opening the email will not do anything but clicking on pictures, links, files and etc WILL spread the virus. I know of no virus where it spreads just by opening the email.
