What is the difference between the 2 ?

The soul is what contains your personality, your strengths and weaknesses, your desires and fears. It is what makes you, you. A spirit is more of a "projection" (for lack of a better word) or manifestation of something that was once living. to put it simply, a spirit is a (wow this sounds lame...) ghost.

The spirit, is your auric light body?

at first i thought they were the same thing just two different names. i think that your soul is what connects you to the astral but your spirit is its physical counter-part...
Spirit is the the physical energy that connects everything that makes us one. and the soul is the part of us that live on forever and gives us our star on the astral.
the soul is the essence and the spirit is the energy it gives off...what you get if you take someone's picture and try 2 heal them, what you get when you record someone's vocals.

The spirit is the etheric double, the projection on the astral of what the entity looked like when they were alive. In other words, a ghost. A soul is the light body of the entity. It can be different colours depending on the spiritual development of the entity.
