It is said in Kung Fu, we must learn how to meditate before going onto the first form. You cannot relax doing something if you haven't tried relaxing doing nothing. This exercise is meant for those who aren't really into martial arts or cannot seem to learn or find a place to learn spiritual arts like tai chi.
What is Shadow Boxing?
Shadow boxing is when you spar with your eyes closed, visualizing an opponent. You use your skills of visualization while moving. Many fighters do it when they lack a partner.
So how is this an exercise for SS?
Well there's something I've been trying whenever I shadow boxed. That's visualizing energy on my hands and feet. I personally use electric blue. As you spar make sure to feel the energy on your hands and feet. Draw in more as you breath and focus on your hand and feet chakras too. This way you get to visualize energy, a partner(which can help with thoughtforms), do chakra work, exercise, and at the end of the session you get some energy to do whatever with.
Before the session you can also work on the hand and feet chakras to make it easier.
You can do it at any speed and for any duration. It's technically some form of meditation too so make sure to go slowly at first.
