see clearly with closed eyes?

yeah the subject says it all.
i've had this two times by now today once and a couple of weeks ago i had it the first time.
it feels like a dream but i am awake i know my eyes are closed but i can see clearly as if my eyes were open.
this feels odd to me, can someone try to explain me that

i can't explain this but i read a story about someone who could learn to do this. It's called The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and it's by Roald Dahl.
