I noticed i can do it two ways,
Type A: relaxed and letting my face loose without feeling something. Focusing solely on nothing, or the black, makes me lose track on time and it pass fast when eyes closed, and makes time very slow when eyes open. Eyes close sometimes i lose consciousness ( Sometimes vivid images arise and I get absorbed in them as if they’re real, momentarily forgetting I’m meditating. ) and other times i nod off. Doing it eyes open is opposite, makes me more conscious than ever. And continuously present.
Type B: i get a small smile and uplift myself and have good feeling for no reason ( not forced, just a F** the world i am feeling good no matter what), and focus on it and on breath while mind is silent. Or focusing in task if i am making food or something. When i do this eyes closed, i usually start seing colour and feeling third eye. Compared to type A which makes me feel going deep, type B feels like going up.
The second give a very different flavor to the void meditation making it feeling like having a massage, especially when i am doing a task or walking around doing it. The first lacks the sauce and feels raw.
Are both valid ( i know they are, i just want someone to expand on these) ? Is one better than the other?
Also recently i am being addicted to void meditation, i am doing hours a day in it, is this ok or there is a point where it becomes ‘overdoing it’. I do not do it sitting meditating, but for example working while focusing solely on the task with quiet mind. It feels so calm and present. Especially type A. Feels like sleep. While concentration is at peak.
What i noticed is type A: makes me sometimes recall old events or make old emotions surface etc so i believe it is cleansing me.
Type B: it raises my vibration slowly continuously, rarely bad emotions pop up i let them process they disappear instantly. or if it persists i move to type A.
What i mean by doing it at work, is mind silent unless the thinking is needed.
Additionally, is it a good idea to do affirmations or focusing on thoughts sometimes during the void meditation? The type B makes me feel the affirmation very well. Type A makes me sometimes feel the resistence to the affirmation and i keep affirming while letting the resistence clear itself. In both type A and type B, i am able to focus on the affirmation very well.
I understand affirmations sound as opposite of what VM seeks, but i mean besides the 2min in the program, if one during the day VM and does affirmations is it good etc.. and whats better doing them in type A or type B.
I hope someone expand on these, thank you in advance.
