Scrying mirror?

Greetings to all!
My question is:
Can I "improvise" making that mirror because of lack of black paint, instead I can use photo frame, a glass and a black paper printed....
So I put a black paper in a photo frame and over it glass. Will it work?

I got to my astral temple for a scrying mirror. However, if what you described achieves the same effect, than i don't see why you can't.
