This is most likely the enemy trying to scare you into some of it's old fashioned bullshit. There are not supposed to be eyes there. You have six psychic eyes from your mid point of your nose, to about the top of your forehead, and you have your third eye, and two other physical eyes. That's it.

I would just ignore it and continue to progress.
