Quick Question about Sun and Moon Energies -

Earlier today I went and meditated for 50 minutes sun-gazing into a convex mirror today while vibrating something very similar to THOTH and RAUM (rolling R's are supposed to help activate the pineal and third-eye because of the vibrations of the tongue against the roof of the mouth too) yet I didn't feel a thing. THEN just now I went and extended my hands towards the moon and could feel energy like vibrations from it (like I have before and also from some stars too).  
Why is it that I can feel energy from the moon with my fingertips but from the sun I cannot?

Well first of all what do you mean by ''something similar'' to Thoth and Raum? Sun gazing is new age nonsense and if your using new age mantras no wonder you don't feel anything.
