Number of Repetitions for Runes

When vibrating runes, do I *have* to vibrate them in multiples of their number? I use Algiz, Sowilo, and Thurisaz in my aura (for protection, and strengthening my aura), can I just vibrate each for say 10 times? My aura feels as strong as steel after only 6 reps of each, but I've been doing 15 and 16 reps. I'm just wondering in case I'm short on time.

Well Lydia what I do is vibrate them for their number I also use Algis and Sowilo. Sowilo is 16 and algis is 15. If you want you can repeat them 9 times. But I feel you should do what feels comfortable. Sometimes I vibrate them 9 times(when tired or short on time) and usually I just vibrate them for their number of times.

No, it is not a necessity to vibrate the rune's multiple. You can vibrate how much you want but every time you reach the multiple of the rune it gives a double power so to say. Example Sowilo is 16, if you vibrate it 4 times it is totally fine. Just at the multiples it is much stronger then at non multiples because for example if you vibrate it 17 times it is weaker then 16 because 16 is the multiple of the Rune. I hope this does not sound to complex to understand.
