Moderator, Is there a true Satanic Bible?

What I am getting out of this group is disjointed bits and pieces. I have come into this group at an older age than many of you (better late than never). I find that I can do my best learning by reading books.
Would the group moderator please recommendsome kind of reading material for a novice devotee?

Well, I'm not a Moderator, but I'm probably one of the oldest persons in the group & I have been a dedicated Spiritual Satanist for over 5 years following the previous 30-plus or more as a student of the occult and for a while a LaVeyan (although I always took from that what worked and was quite eclectic). But enough about me ...

You couldn't go wrong to start by going through the JoS site. It's huge, I know, & for that reason can be a bit intimidating at first, but it contains a wealth of information. HP Maxine, who created & runs the site, didn't pull all this info from a hat; it was the result of considerable research over a long time, and she has cited her sources at the bottom of the articles. These writings can be obtained as books (not always easily as many can be/are out of print, but still available with some legwork in many cases, especially on-line).

I am far less experienced then chalchiuhnenetzin but here are some links from JoS. These sites have alot of free online books you can click on and read. Also, in the groups file section to the left just under attachments their are some online books you can read. The lost book of Enki looks interesting but I have not read it yet, best of luck. Oh yeah you can also purchase these books from the JoS online store (http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/Store.html), I just got all the books yahoooo.

There're lots of books in the Files section here in this group as well. But I'm surprised why is a reference to a "satanic bible" in the title. Even if there was such book, I wouldn't use the word "bible". It makes me puke even thinking about this book full of lies and murder and slavery.

He probably used those words because of Anton LaVey's famous work, "The Satanic Bible" and thought their might be another version. (Incidentally, the word 'bible' simply means 'a collection of books'; it is from the same root as "library" or in Spanish "biblioteca". It's the xtian take on the word that's so horribly off-putting because their filthy 'bible' is one of the worst, sickest, most violent, etc. pieces of filth ever put between two covers.)
