I thought something similar for the past half year; that if I just meditated and did yoga and RTRs consistently I would advance over time just like that. But that's wrong.

Lately I'd been feeling increasingly confused and upset and negative about various things for no apparent reason. I hadn't tried focusing on my Guardian Demoness in months because I was afraid of losing sight of reality if I focused on things I can't physically hear or see, and I thought that was the right thing to do to protect myself.
But then a few days ago I felt like that wasn't right after all and decided to focus on Her for a bit. Suddenly my senses became much clearer overall. I unfortunately had a nightmare for the first time in months, but when I woke up I did Returning Curses to get rid of whatever was causing it (which I was now able to see), and since then I've felt so much calmer than I have in months, and I feel like I understand things better again.

There are many things that we can do on our own. But if we just do whatever, we can sometimes get stuck on things that we don't know how to properly handle. The Gods are here to guide us during times like that. With Their guidance we can overcome things in moments that could take decades otherwise. You can get very far in a decade if you know what to do; or you can walk in pointless circles and feel like you've done a lot when you've really gotten nowhere.
That's why I think you're making a mistake. Although I'm not sure if there was a point in writing all this considering you probably won't read it, and even if you did you'd probably still stick to your own circles instead.

That first paragraph legit just demoralized the shit out of me. This should be mentionned in the training guides. Intentional or not i feel misled. After everything i've done and experienced, I don't even know if last year's 400+ rtrs that i did helped at all for the cause. I am agitated and tired of some hypocrisies floating around these forums and mageson definetly screwed up my trust in information circulating here for a very long foreseeable future. People like OP who post misinformation then come around angry we didnt swallow it like good little slaves piss me right off and make it hard for me to socialize with literally the only group of people i feel some affinity towards. I am way too honest and trusting and feel like this gets abused too much. I need a big breather. This right here is why i don't post much.

If more people observed the case of Magestein with a critical eye, we would have less "I was surprised oh my how come" to begin with. Like people read stuff that "Vatican is of Satan" and "Christos Lucifer" and people were like ingesting it.

Was this a more "trusting" time? As far as other Clergy is concerned, this was the worst time for us.

It appears the striking majority of people did not, but they did not mention it because of worry of being banned.

@Bone Dust - Chillax, mang! (Sorry!) I once told - not asked, but told - mageson to stop trolling or spamming in one of my threads ages ago. That was long before most people knew about that crap, though. If that had have got me banned, then oh well, meh. It didn't, though! Forget what others say. I have been on forums (and chatrooms) for years - there are always fakers, posers, spammers, trolls on them, regardless of what topic/community the forum/chatroom was for. That's the nature of these things. Grow a thicker skin, man. (Can I call you "Boney", or would that be too funny and silly? Lol.) It's going to happen many times more - I promise and guarantee so. Just stop caring about it and focus on the good and important and helpful things. I was feeling pretty demoralized over mostly what Meteor said in his first paragraph (and yes the OP made it worse). I thought doing the routines laid out in the guides was THE way to advancement, as well as participating in the cause. After all I was under the impression that to hear and see the gods I would need this advancement first and foremost. Not go the other way around and ask with ten plugs in each ear. It made me feel like everything I was already doing didn't really matter that much.

Regarding trust, its true that I take too many people at face value and I appreciate the reminder about critical thinking and making assessments for my own decisions. But when it came to Mageson, the last thing I remember is that topic I called him out on. I knew this could have potentially led to my expulsion, but I cared about the truth more than a forum account, besides I was already lurking a lot by default anyways. My intent was to shed light on what I saw as a clear contradiction, I would never have fathomed he was actually up to no good at the time.
