Unless we're talking about Jupiter. Jupiter retrograde is beneficial. I've done it in the past and they have worked.

Venus rules throat, not Mercury.

For strengthening your throat, meditate on it. Kaun rune is great for the throat chakra. And since the throat is an upper chakra, it's a higher tone, not a low tine as you mentioned.

I know Throat is a higher tone. Was talking about when I do vibrations for the lower chakras.

I'll look into the Kenaz/Kaun rune, but I was hoping to do a square for it since I need a powerful spell to break through all the gunk.

It has been already clarified in the forums and I believe it was HP Lucius Oria to dispel the confusion.

Venus rules the throat chakra.Mercury ruled the heart chakra.
Every page that says differently is outdated. If you look into the symbology of Mercury, you'll understand how this is true. Furthermore, Venus forms a couple with Mars, just like in mythology. When you study spirituality, you don't take into account only one factor, but all of them.
