I was remembering some old studies done at school like that In Judaism, the matrilineal relationship prevails, according to which anyone born to a Yehuborim mother is considered Yehuborim, but the path of voluntary conversion also remains open. Is this true? So if a father is a Yehubor and a mother isn't, you are not a Yehubor?

Yeah. In Yehuborim lies and nonsense, it's through the mother (and judaism is misogynistic, mind you), but in biology it's either parent from any member of the family/blood line.
