Joint Resolution on Anti-Semitism

This happened about a week ago, but I was recently reminded of it and wanted to share, as this was something that was deliberately done in a very stealthy manner.

The gist of it is, the House was voting on a joint resolution to get the US military out of Yemen without congressional approval. Nearing the end of that, Rep. (((David Kustoff))) made a "Motion to Recommit," and added an amendment to the joint resolution that called for the United States to combat anti-semitism through a variety of means.

I'd like to credit the Twitter account SYSTEM FAILURE (@Network_Shoah_) as it was through their tweets that I found out about this, and it's their tweets that I'll be referencing here. It's also heartwarming to note that this account is an openly National Socialist, Polish Twitter account that likes to send out good morning/happy Wednesday/etc. tweets with positive imagery of Hitler.

"So there was a joint resolution in the House of Representatives to get our military out of Yemen without congressional approval. At the last minute, jewish congressman David Kustoff makes what's called a Motion to Recommit. What a 'Motion to Recommit' means is adding a final amendment to a measure before it goes to a vote."

"His Motion to Recommit starts out with:

'It is in the national security interest of the United States to combat anti-Semitism around the world'

Some other key points include:

- Anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hatred must be most strongly condemned

- There is an urgent need to ensure the safety and security of jewish communities

- All attempts to delegitimize and deny Israel's right to exist must be denounced and rejected

Here's the full text of the Motion to Recommit:

"So I started wondering, what's the difference between a bill and a joint resolution? A joint resolution is basically the same thing as a bill with one very significant difference:

JOINT RESOLUTIONS CAN BE USED TO PROPOSE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS"

"So this jewish congressman sees a perfect opportunity in the aftermath of the Ilhan Omar "jewish tropes" controversy.

NEVER LET A GOOD CRISIS GO TO WASTE

He slips this Motion to Recommit into a completely unrelated joint resolution. The House votes on the Motion to Recommit and get this, it passes

424-0

No one wants to be labeled an anti-semite especially after Ilhan Omar was dragged through the mud, so of course no one is going to oppose it. The House of Representatives voted on this joint resolution and it passed 248-177. Now it's in the hands of the Senate.

If the Senate passes it, then it goes to the president's desk. President Trump can either sign it or veto it.

If he vetoes it, Congress can override his veto and become law. If it does become law, then Congress can propose a constitutional amendment prohibiting antisemitic views."

Those interested can find the entirety of this Twitter thread here: https://twitter.com/Network_Shoah_/status/1097255751347666946 It starts with a video of (((Kustoff))) talking about the motion to recommit in one of the most stereotypical Jew voices, I'd say 7.5/10. He's also particularly difficult to look at:

I mean honestly. I know that Jews tend to have features that can make even sleeping Gentiles recoil in disgust, but this dude is fucking horrifying to behold. I'm legitimately experiencing a spook.

All that said, another reason I wanted to share this is to hear some thoughts and perhaps any corrections if any of this was inaccurate. The idea of the US being constitutionally obligated to combat antisemitism is inherently worrisome, but if there's some reason as to how that simply cannot happen that SYSTEM FAILURE missed in his tweets, that would be good to know.

At the very least, at the end of the day, no matter what legal efforts they try to carry out, they cannot take away our RTRs. In the long run this will be fuel for an ever-expanding fire.
