I'm new into Satanism

Hey so, I got a few questions. Do you really can prove that satanism is the true religion or is it like other religions where you wait for the afterlife? If there is a way to prove the reality of Satan for myself, am I damned or something? Ive read that if you do meditations for about a month, you feel Satan and talk to dead peoples souls or something like that... is this true?
