I solved my pendulum dilemma

I've been hesitant to use a pendulum for contact because I'm not too trusting of the steadiness f my own hands with something as light as a piece of string and sometging as small as a ring.

I was leery because of what I think is called micromovements, meaning, it could very well be these subtle muscular contractions causing the pendulum to swing, in the first place.

I found a solution though.

Instead of using something so light as string, I placed several lead weights inside of two socks, within each other. The weight is sufficient so as not to be affected by any amount of micromovements.

It's solid, alright. Nice heft but, not so heavy as to cause me to shake, if I hold it too long.

With this, I went into a trance, asked Father Satan my question and within just a few seconds, received my yes or no answer.

It works. This seems a good way to discern some information, without any doubts over my own micromovements affecting the results.

I feel the need to post this here, just in case anyone is doubting using a pendulum.

I made one using a chain and rock, it's still pretty light.. I've avoided using it for this exact reason. So I'll have to try this method. Thank you for sharing!

@ Mandy. Hmmm. Never thought to try chains. I come across sections of chain all the time. I usually pick them up for the extra weight on my walks.

Yes, your fear of subconscious movement is well founded; known as the ideomotor effect, it's what causes 99.99999%of Oija board users to believe they are "contacting" something. My Great Grandfather was a Waldensian, excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church, and his family (and the entirety of Waldensians) kicked out of Italy for heresy. He knew the power of pendulums well. The well that he dug on his farm in the early 1900s was found by dowsing with a forked Peach Tree branch, and dowsing is the same concept as pendulums. They are nearly identical. Glad your current method is working for you. Just remember, the power is within you, not some inanimate object. The object is merely a point of focus, much like focusing on a sigil or using some form of divination. It's you who are doing the working, not a drawing, set of sticks, ort a crystal you bought at the mall.

I've seen it said by people that they sometimes use random objects as pendulums. Like a pair of ear buds or something. They say they talk sweet to it and ask it if it wants to be the pendulum and it will say yes or no. This is confusing to me. Does that mean this object has a spirit of some kind that is aware enough to be like "no I don't want to be your pendulum"? If it has no spirit why would it refuse?
