After 5 minutes, ask them if they want to be friends and add them on facebook. Then ask if they are alone. If not, ask him/her to introduce you to his/her circle.
Set a goal to add at least five friends per week.
After a year you'll have at least 250 "friends" which will make you quite powerful.
