I should've approached my former post differently. In no way do I advocate turning the other cheek, or any other such nonsense. Every action deserves an equal reaction. But I also choose my battles based on value: why focus on bickering with someone I don't even know, when I could put that focus towards advancement? I agree with your point, but, once you've made your argument, I see no purpose in coming back for the last word. If it's a physical confrontation that's different, but making the same point (or no point at all) just for the sake ov not backing down? I don't get it. It seems a waste ov time and energy.
Besides, my qualms aren't with the discussion, but the condescending nature ov it. This entire thread could've been reposted without any sarcasm or snipping, and all the same points could've been made. I might be wrong, but this is how I think of it.So... the question was how one becomes a member of the clergy. First off, you need to do a lot of work for father satan. Then, once our HPs notice your continuous efforts, they might consider to make you clergy. This recognition might also come from a sign of father satan himself, basically "telling" the HPs that you are a possible "clergy-candidate". It has been repeatedly stated in this thread that "father satan chooses them", and it has also been stated that "the HPs do it and satan has nothing to say". I say it actually is a mixture of both. To stay real here, satan always has the last word with this. If he doesn't want a certain someone to be clergy then this person wont become clergy, period. However, in the case of the clergy finding someone who is - in their opinion - worthy of joining their "ranks", and they don't get a negative response in regards to this person from father satan, then it might very well be that they make this person a member of the clergy on their own accord.(It's also possible that they directly ask father satan about this person, just to be sure. Heck if I know lol).

Seriously tho, I think these conversations are really important... I am not at all an old member, so it's really interesting to getting to know my fellow ss's . I always read sermons and get so hyped, then I realize we are still human, and we are pretty damn flawed.. There is no way we are going to advance if we are not a strong family, and like in any loving relationship, there must be "friction". Without friction there can be no birth, or meaningfull communication, cause when everybody agrees, then nothing really comes out, does it? Stay strong brothers, and keep spamming RTR's, we can never have enough during these dark days... I am really seeing people change cause of their celebrations... And from what I remember, there used to be war engagments happening right after the christmas easter, let's hope this time we can prevent it.

Guys, you can't go on about how someone "conveyed" something, as this is biased and only of the persons opinion.

I skimmed through posts in this thread and all I'm seeing is everyone jumping to conclusions about what some people may have or may not have said.

All_me is legit and has a busy life going on and takes time out of his day to reply to newbies. Same with Aldrick.
