No beauty is skin deep and can be measured with the eyes. Ugly people are simply ugly. Doesn't have anything to do with smartness. A beautiful person may or may not be smart but that doesn't stop them from continuing to be beautiful.

I have noticed this too. One factor is that many of the ugliest people are ugly because they eat junk food, which is bad for the body and brain. Drugs and smoking also damage the body and soul. It is definitely possible to connect with a person's soul through a photograph of them. (Just look at a photo of a full-blooded Yehubor, and you can sense the evil soul.)

As for the best looking people, perhaps some of them have been Satanists in past lives. As a result, their soul is more powerful than average.
