Greetings my dear Zevists,
My last post was about deprogramming from negative wealth patterns. This one will be all about how to get a job.
Introduction
As many of you have noticed, getting a decent paying job in this day and age has become much harder than it used to be. The human population has increased and standards have gotten higher.
A father could once support a whole family on one salary. Now both parents have to work, and even then, the family will struggle.
Minimum wage jobs are hoarded by hundreds of applicants daily, especially by people who tolerate any abuse in the workplace, making employers very judgemental of those that don't want to be worked like slaves.
This post is intended to give you those skills that will make you become a top candidate.
Selling Yourself - Clothing
A very necessary part of life is about selling yourself. In today's age we as a society pushed beauty and personal care away, the result of that are young men/women dressing like they're the next YouTube rapper. You get what I mean. We Zevists need to be well dressed, this doesn't mean going out in a suit (unless you want to, nothing wrong with that), it means having some basic sense of style.
I'm not going to discuss what clothes to buy here, as it's not the right thread for it, but the internet is full of advice.
Point is, we cannot dress like teenagers and expect the world to bend to us. Dress for power.
Soft Skills
The Cambridge dictionary defines soft skills as: "people's abilities to communicate with each other and work well together".
Here is a little test - how do people generally feel when speaking with you? Can you make them smile? Make them feel good about themselves? Do you feel they consider you a person who deserves respect? Do you feel awkward when dealing with people? If the answer to any question is "No", then you have work to do on developing people skills. For a Zevist, being able to deal with people in a wholesome way must be like breathing air.
You might be the best candidate in terms of technical skills and abilities, but a person with great soft skills and less knowledge than you can and will be preferred. This is simple human psychology.
Story time: I was once contacted for a job interview (no idea where they even found my number) - it was for a car importer - they wanted me to be their salesman. The person who called told me that the way I answered the phone really convinced him, and after a 2 minute call I already had another job interview. Mind you, I have no knowledge at all about cars, I don't generally even care about cars, and I couldn't tell you the difference between a Hyundai and a Ford. At the interview I was honest that I'm not the best at cars, but the way I handled that interview they just didn't care and hired me on the spot.
My honest advice is for every Zevist to learn how to be a salesman. Even a few basic books will help. Being able to persuade people in a wholesome way is the key to bending reality to your will. Being able to make people smile, and make them feel great around you - it's something you want. But remember - this can't be forced. You must be a genuine person.

Your Resume
Too often there are people sending resumes that are basically junk.
Here is some great resume advice from reddit:
* Use a professional-looking Gmail, Outlook, or personal domain email address. Delete your Hotmail with extreme prejudice.
* Don't put an objective section or summary. It'll be skipped, and it's space that can be used better.
* Unless you have 20+ years' experience, make it 1 page. You can do it.
* Don't put your full address. "City, State" is enough.
* Name your resume "FirstName LastName Resume" and that's it. Never submit it with "(Project Management)" or "Final" or "2018" or literally anything else in the file name.
* If emailing your resume, always submit it as a PDF, never as a Word doc. You never know how wonky a Word doc will look on someone else's machine. If uploading to an online application that uses resume parsing software, you can upload the Word doc as well or if it's required to do so.
* Try to read it in 10 seconds or less and see what you take away from it. That's about the initial screen time before someone makes an initial up/down decision, so you'll want to examine it from that perspective.
* Interests are important because it gives the interviewer something to connect with you on, and it makes you more than just a faceless resume.
Networking
Having a good network is the key to unlocking opportunities. It's extremely important for a Zevist to have a good network of influential people.
But networking is so vast an area that it deserves a thread of its own.
Interview preparation
Most people just wing their interview, as Zevist, we know better than that.
30 minutes of preparation is all you need. Check their linkedin, understand their goals and the work that you would do.
Prepare a couple of questions that you're gonna ask, this will make you look serious in getting the job. If you know who is interviewing you, look them up on LinkedIn too. Find one thing about their background you can mention if the conversation slows down. People love being seen.
Try and have some stories ready about how you solved specific problems or pain points that business may be experiencing.
Show up 10 minutes early.
Firm handshake. Eye contact. Sit up straight. Smile when you greet them. The soft skills we talked about earlier. Look confident (even if you aren't).
If they ask a question you don't know the answer to, be honest about it. It's better to confidently admit ignorance on a topic and be open to learning rather than looking like a Double-ignorant fool.
The Zevist viewpoint
As Zevists, we have spiritual tools that can help us acquire jobs.
Magick workings - Raise energy, affirm your desired outcome, and visualise yourself as if you have gotten the job already. The workings will bring you the ideas, resources, and luck to ace the job interview and get the job.
High Priestess Lydia Coventina once shared a method of infusing your resume with gold-white energy and affirming that you are getting the job.
You can humbly pray to your Guardian Demon to help and guide you towards acquiring that job.
