In my opinion, these idiots are not infiltrators, most of these are just decoys, these decoys simply provide a small cloak of invisibility or ignorance over the ones who are actually infiltrating.
By becoming the bait, the attraction, these keep us here busy and engaged from time to time, but moreover also provide material for the infiltrators to build trust.
These decoys are also creating a stereotype around "infiltration", changing the meaning of it in our heads.
