foundation meditation + energy meditation

Im confused. If i want to do meditation for energy do i need to do it at the same time with foundation meditation.To breath energy in like at foundation meditation, and at the same time visualize myself breathing energy as with energy meditation? Please reply.

Yes, energy meditation is similar to the foundation meditation, in the sense that you breathe-in energy (surrounding you, or from different parts of the body) but when you exhale -- visualize it strengthening and enlarging your AURA. You can do this with different colored light as you get more experienced.
