When you have retrogrades on your natal chart do the planets usually function better when they are in an actual retrograde? If that's the case it's not that bad for me right now hahaha..

Luka, if you are born during a retrograde, you will fare better than others during that retrograde, and feel more at home. For example, if you were born during a Mercury REtrograde:Mercury retrograde makes it difficult for others to communicate, however if you were born during mercury retrograde, you will probably find it EASIER to communicate, and it won't really affect you negatively

A retrograde and a transit are very different Toal, I wasn't completely sure about the retrograde, but when a retrograde goes over another planet it is a transit which has very different effects. 

I remember I read about retrogrades and that the effects of them are less negative for people who are born in retrogrades when that planet is currently in a retrograde. This can be found on the Azazels Astrology for Satanists pages on the JOS.
