Confused and lost...

Hello there. I'm interested in the religion of Satan. I've been through many religions, only to find that they are definitely not the right one for me. I was born and baptized as a Christian, and then I became an Agnostic, and then an Atheist. Now, I feel such distance from anything spiritual.

The thought of Satan intrigues me, however makes me afraid and nervous as well. I was taught to believe that he is 'evil', and 'corrupted' - but that's not what I truly think. At least, not anymore. I'm confused, and don't know where to go. The thought of toying with demons and blood rituals makes me hesitant, though Satan (I feel uncomfortable just saying the name, curses...) seems like a loving and powerful god.

I don't support ignorance or hate, nor thoughts of revenge or violence. I support pro-choice and same-sex marriage, if that means anything to you. Maybe this isn't the right religion for me? I'm just a lost kid...

To be quite honest the only ritual in spiritual Satanism that involves blood is the dedication ritual where you have to poke your finger to write your name in blood, Thats it, The stuff about evil and that we kill people to offer to Satan are sick fucking lies by christians.
You should read on this site: ExposingChristianity.com

In Satanism you are not forced to do anything, And Satan will never ever ask you to kill someone or hurt someone.

Take it one day, one step at a time.

There is no rush. Satan will be here forever.

Just give yourself time to mull it over. Read the JoS. Approach Satan or some other God of Hell if you are so moved. Once you dedicate, you have chosen this path for life, but there is no need to do that sort of thing when you have just discovered the majesty of The Gods. There is some time, yet.

Your fear will dissipate in time. Let yourself be receptive to Him. His enemies want you to be afraid of Him, of course. Fear is the only thing that has kept mankind from (re)turning to Satan and The Gods of Olde, for They are The Truth.

There is no need to make any decisions about any of this right now. As you read more and think about it, your path will become clear. But you must know that this is no easy path.

Yes, Satan is extremely loving. And so are the other Gods. Cosmic, celestial, all-encompassing love, in fact. The Ultimate. But it takes time to become acquainted, as most humans are not spiritually adept, and they (humans) are often fearful, and uncertain about anything metaphysical. The enemy uses this to create confusion in the budding Satanist, which they then stir into fear. Fear which has been indoctrinated into humanity for centuries due to false religion run amok.

Humans are natural skeptics because most have never been exposed to the so-called "supernatural," nor has it been given the "seal of approval" from society. Even those crazy xians - if one of them said they saw jeezus, most people would call them crazy. Even a great deal of xians would call them crazy. But people DO see jesus. He does not exist and in fact he never existed at all, but angels (who *do* exist) will often take on his alleged appearance.

This is your life. It is your decision. Satan does not demand worship. His followers sometimes worship Him, but it is truly a choice they have made of their own free will, because they love, admire, and respect Him so much. This is very very different from the false god, who insists that if you do not worship him, he will cast you into a fiery pit of suffering and oblivion for all eternity. If you don't follow or worship Satan, He just leaves you alone! Very simple. That is, unless you are working against Him.

As for pro-choice and same-sex marriage - The Gods could care less about homosexuality, who is having sex with whom, who has married whom, who has fallen in love with whom.... they do not care. They do not oppose any of these things. Nor do they oppose abortion. So, yes. Your views here generally align with what Gods and most Satanists believe.

As for revenge and violence. We Spiritual Satanists are law-abiding. We do not advocate or condone breaking any laws here.

That being said, we believe in justice. This may sometimes mean tolerance, and mercy. This may sometimes mean forgiveness. People make mistakes, people grow and learn and change, and sometimes taking revenge on one person hurts innocent people who were uninvolved.

However, when it comes down to it, we do not turn the other cheek. We are not victims, we do not take abuse lying down. We get what is ours through diplomatic and pleasurable means. When this fails, we weigh our options, and though the enlightened Satanist will try and avoid violence and revenge, the enlightened Satanist WILL take revenge and WILL strike back when they deem it necessary. The Cosmos is a harsh place, and people and civilizations and species DO NOT SURVIVE when they become paralyzed by some moral hangups. Morals can be largely subjective. Depending on your perspective, morals are ENTIRELY subjective. We show mercy, but we also seek revenge. The decision is ours. Sometimes, one's mercy simply runs out.

Then again, it is positively delightful to destroy something or someone that entirely deserves it.

That's about all I have to say.... best of luck...

HAIL SATAN!!
