Since there is no Chinese member yet, I decided to start translating from English into Chinese using DeepL. I will start with the small websites first and build the way as time goes, hopefully Chinese members will join and correct these automated translations but it is a good beginning as DeepL is better than google translate. This will highly depend on my available time. For reference, when I finish a website I will link it here. If other members have nothing to translate left in their own language they can join here if they want to help. Making this knowledge available to around 1.5 billion people mostly opressed under communism is of massive importance.

Did read deepl does only have partly pronounciation for chinese found these statement:

"As far as Chinese text translation goes, DeepL is lacking one important feature. That is it does in include romanzed “Pinyin” text like Google Translate does. Thus, there is nothing to give even the slightest clue as to pronunciation. That, in effect, makes it pretty much useless for translating English into Chinese.

That is, imagine (if you will) that you are in Beijing and need to say to your Chinese friend “My hovercraft is full of eels”. DeepL will show you only the Chinese characters “我的氣墊船裝滿了鱔魚”, with no Pinyin to help you actually say it.

I believe it can do some Chinese Pinyin now."

Just wanted to mention, because this seemed to be important for the translation work.

Hi, If you offer to translate, I was thinking you can start translating the main JoS from the beginning and I will try to translate all the other websites. Since I have to sort out some other translations first, it will take a while until I will be able to start the Chinese translations.
To make things easier, you can use this empty JoS archive if you consider to be of help:
https://ancient-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61450
It should contain a folder for every single article on the main JoS.
How I normally do is, I translate one article into one document and I save it in its designated folder, then the next article in a new document and then saved in its designated folder and so on. The main folders and all the containing ones are numbered to follow the exact order of the articles from the online website. For reference you can follow the second link in my signature where is the English JoS saved offline exactly in the same way, but instead of documents I saved the html file of each article. Though if you have your own way that you already got used to is even better.
Also personally I use a standard `pattern` when doing documents for translations, that is: centered title with font size 20 and text aligned left with font size 12 and I insert all images in their correct place in the document. If I translate a whole website into one PDF (although I normally use folder archives) then I push every next artcle on the next page with the title on the first line. If you want to do the same is all up to you.

But I have a curiosity though, I guess you are German. As far as I know the main JoS is the only website translated in German (congratulations for the tremendous work), so there are still all the other ones to be translated, aren't they?

Thanks for the explanation The Alchemist7. About "Pinyin" did missread it is not important for the translation english chinese (written signs) with deepl.com. About the other German sites we fokus now on the Main JOS site and after it is finished we move on to the other ones. Implementing containt needs time, double check->changing site etc, so inbetween I have time to do somethin else.

I would expect the Chinese listed on Deepl is a sort of standard Chinese main dialect or something similar as apparently Chinese had over 140 dialects. Indeed first should be figured out how `limited` the language from Deepl is because in that case probably it won't be very different compared to google translate.

Deepl chinese is, if it does work right the offical simplified one, used by most chinese. If we would want to reach all chinese we would have to also translate into traditional chinese, but simplified one should work for most.

"SIMPLIFIED CHINESE
This character set is used in mainland China and by people of Chinese origin in Singapore. The characters have fewer lines and strokes. They are also easier to remember and easier to write. With the help of these simplified characters, the Chinese government wants to promote literacy. The simplified writing system is officially used in the People's Republic of China and Singapore.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE
This character set consists of the traditional Chinese characters and is used outside of mainland China (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and in overseas territories).

THE DIFFERENCE
In the simplified character set, about 2,000 characters have been replaced by simpler characters with fewer strokes and lines, and various variants have also been removed."

From my side is good enough. The problem is, as long as China is communist, is unlikely to have Chinese SS here, unless they come from Singapore, Taiwan or other Chinese speaking communities/areas. About Taiwan, the problem is, we don't know how long it will still be democratic. Also even translated into Chinese, JoS knowledge will be unavailable in China due to internet censorship but if we start translating, it will eventually be ready for when communism will fall in China as no communist regime resists forever. I think China holds already the longest communist regime of them all.

As long there is a post office, there is a way around the I-net censorship. I also think the Falun Gong Members would be glad to help spread.

I think it would be good if we would do it like this Example Home page:

English and Chinese shortly after one another so one does know how to place it on the page / a chinese mother language speaker can check it:

"THERE IS NO GOD BUT MYSELF" "KNOWING THIS, WHO DARES WORSHIP THE FALSE GODS OF THE KORAN AND BIBLE?" - SATAN
FROM THE QU'RET AL-YEZID

"除了我自己,没有别的神。"" 知道了这一点,谁还敢拜《古兰经》和《圣经》中的假神?" - 撒旦
摘自QU'RET AL-YEZID。

Also a few times changing the language back and forth may be advised because first deepl did translate QU'RET AL-YEZID as Koran  , mistakes like this should be avoided.

Yea most likely the system found `koran` to be the closest to Qu`Ret or something. What other member suggested once is, to apply it in this case, copy the Chinese translation and paste it in another translator like bing or google translate to translate back to English. If its as close as possible to the original English text then the translator is good.

Sorry I was unable to login into the forums in the last week. You can do if you wish, although I wouldn't recommend, especially for articles bigger than 10-15 pages as posting the english paragraphs above the Chinese ones will quite double the size of the documents and the translation process will take considerably longer as well. Personally I don't insert the English paragraphs as when I do documents/PDFs, i do them in a way so that the creators of the websites will only have to copy paste the content from the document into the html file, to ease a bit their job. Inserting the English paragraphs will slow down the process, unless the person who will correct the documents will remove the paragraphs when finishing. Though I think inserting the English title, either in the document or in the file or folder name is a must so both the website creator and the person correcting will know what documents they are reading, in which case they can open the English article and compare it with the translation (I have never verified/corrected myself other translations for grammar and errors but that's what I would do). The paragraphs can be inserted if you wish as long as the person correcting will be removing them afterwards.

NP, will do it with the english above, otherwise it´s harder to find out where I was etc.

Unfortunately, although the site is not included in the Chinese government's Internet surveillance list, almost no other Chinese come here :(
Of course, if the communist government finds out that you are worshiping Satan, you could be arrested or even executed :(
If you are from mainland China better don't risk your life. I understood the Chinese citizens have to scan their faces before entering the internet. There are native Chinese people in other countries as well like Singapore or Taiwan, and Chinese emigrants all over the world, but somehow there is no Chinese SS as far as I know.

STanBlank said:
Although I still really want to help with Chinese translation, even if I don't know how to do it at all :D
Also, in mainland China, they look up the IP address to determine where you're going, if I use a VPN and Tor may avoid success
You can definitely help if you wish as there is no Chinese translator yet. Me and Fuchs started translating into Chinese using online software and ideally a native Chinese would verify and correct all translations.
For your security, I think is best if you don't store any SS information in your phone, computer or other storage devices you may have. Instead, I think is best if you simply post your translations here on the thread in Chinese and add the titles in English as well under the Chinese ones (so I can know which articles you translated), and I will put them together into documents. Is there any website in particular that you want to start first?

Hello. Did you start translating the main JoS into Chinese? If yes maybe STanBlank can take over the main site from where you left since he is native Chinese, maybe you can upload what you translated and he can proofread. I hope is alright, If you still wish to help with Chinese you can do other websites, I already done Exposing Christianity and started Death of Communism.

STanBlank said:
I'm so stupid, I hope Father Satan doesn't get angry
Lol don't worry. I don't think that both dialects are required. Which one is the most widespread and most used? Translating only in that most widespread one should be fine.

Yes sorry I cannot login straight away to reply back. If you say traditional Chinese is more important and is also understood by most Chinese population then translate in traditional Chinese, is no point to translate into two dialects as this is a waste of time and resources. If you started translating the main JoS, keep translating and I will be putting your text into documents and save them.

This is the second main article "SATAN" in Jos main article:

I try to translate some main articles faster. There are almost no Chinese here. :( Do you think I can complete most of the main articles within a year? :?:

I used deepl.com, did translate my german translation into chinese (simplified) during mercury retrograde (is good for editing, but not new projects thatś the reason I did it that way). I think I have most done, but it needs to be proof read.

I can create a mega acc and then provide the link to the uploaded files. The files contain links to the tranlsated sites. I can also put them before into the JOS translation folder structure if needed.

STanBlank just tell me how you want the files.

If you have plenty time I think yes the entire JoS main website can be translated by one person within a year, probably less.

I think he is from mainland China, I don't think is safe for him to download anything in his computer or mobile. What can be done is to upload your files in folder format on mega, so he can read them and post corrected versions straight here on the thread. If he wants to download files is up to him but it might be dangerous

Sorry, I have to keep some characters. I still feel a little dangerous
Otherwise, some footprints may be left to prove that I am here :|
I've cut it. Never do anything if you feel unsafe about it. Your circumstances are `special` so to say so you should take maximum care about what information you share here. Also you had a google adress, that's one extra reason not to share it given the place where you live. We normally use protonmail here because it is way better than google. But if you cannot get a protonmail adress, or if you think using your email for SS purposes is dangerous then don't use it, don't take risks.
By the way there are other safer ways you could confirm your adress to Fuchs. You can for example say the first and the last character before @ and how many characters the email has or similar things. This is why I encouraged to work with you exclusively through the forum, without you having to use emails or download files in your device, to protect your anonimity.

@Fuchs I registered a Protonmail mailbox, [email protected], I have used that mailbox to send you emails :)
Is good you created a protonmail but are sure about sharing it? It's been said on the forums that protonmail is most likely collecting IPs (it probably always has been) but it shouldn't affect you if you use a VPN, so it would be unlikely the communist government will stick their nose in between you and protonmail (hopefully)

Assuming that in China cybernetic surveillance is far more agressive than in the West (which might be more like the truth and less of an assumption), I think:
- He shouldn't download any files in his computer or mobile, or store them on any storage device even if is disconnected from internet
- He should avoid using emails as much as possible. By working only through the forum he will be mostly protected as he cannot be tracked here and nobody will handover the information about his device and IP which the forum receives when he access it. If he's using Tor, most of the information a website receives about his device is fake anyway.

I've noticed mega offers the possibility to view documents and not only download them, so you can upload your translations to mega but in folder format because they cannot be opened when they are in a compressed file, and
you can access the mega link, open the document, copy the translation for each page, paste it here on the forum in a reply and edit and correct the text straight here on the forum. Is very important to also put the English title under or above the Chinese one of the articles you will be correcting so I can put them in the correct place. Don't forget to copy the final version after finishing to edit before pressing `Submit` because you might be logged off the forum when you submit a reply, it happens all the time, is most likely because of Tor (if you use it). I also have translations from Exposing Christianity and Death of Communism in Chinese which need to be corrected but we will deal with this later.

Fuchs got some translations in Chinese from the main JoS forum which you can verify and re-post here. As said is good if they are uploaded to mega in folder format so you can view and copy them straight on the forum without having to download them, but if you still want to download them is up to you, I am not 100% sure how severe the surveillance is in China, which is why I advised not to take any risks

In other words, I just need to wait for Fuchs to send the translated text now? :?:

I did send the link with a mail to HPHC to forward it to alchemist7 because I couldn´t figure out how to change the settings so it is not downlodabel and only copy paste allowed.

You didn't need to. There is no setting that you need to apply. All you need to do is to press `Upload` and then `Folder Upload`. By pressing that, the folder can be opened inside mega after is uploaded and the documents can be opened and viewed, and from there StanBlank can copy the text and paste it here on the forum and change it to eliminate existing errors.

Screenshot-from-2022-03-03-13-30-51.png

Also don't worry about any images as I will be inserting them in the documents when I will copy the corrected text from the forum.

For example this is my JoS offline archive which was uploaded in folder format.
https://mega.nz/folder/xFpAQbKL#f2X7haoqUuw3s0kImEJF6A
You can open each folder and see what's inside, however mega cannot open a html file but it can open a document and probably a pdf too.

EDIT: Sorry Fuchs I saw what you mean now. I think Scribd might have an option to block downloads to a file. I have an account on Scribd so I will check out hopefully this week. However I opened the archive you sent HP Cobra and most names are in German. I saw the German translation is inside each file but it won't matter too much as StanBlank can copy only the Chinese one so is alright as I will be using my offline empty archive to create an offline version of the Chinese JoS translations, which can then be easily assembled in a website as the archive will have folders in English but the documents will be in Chinese.

Fuchs sent the files to HP Cobra which he sent to me. I think Fuchs is right when saying that the files should be uploaded on a platform that won't allow you to download them by accident, in order to protect you from the communist government. If you was to download the files you would take some serious risks so I think is better to find a safer way of doing it, which Fuchs suggested already so I will try to find a way to work it out and I will post the files here afterwards.

If HPHC didn´t write you (Alchemist7) we found a solution, so Stan can translate save, just write him (you may mention short the chinese translation thread)

I've checked yesterday and he did not write to me but I did find out that on Scribd I can block downloads so I can upload documents and disable downloads for all of them. The problem is they will need to be uploaded manually but I will upload all of them, translate the titles from German to English and make a list with each title and the link for each article to make it easier for Stan to access them and copy the Chinese test. It shouldn't take more than a few days.

Edit: Ok I saw now there are over 460 documents and it will likely take much longer than expected to upload all of them manually. Also I am not sure if Scribd will allow a free account like mine to upload all of them. On Mega they can be uploaded all in the same time and will take exponentially shorter amount of time, however there is most likely no way to block the download option.

I am thinking, if I would upload all documents on Mega, can we trust that you will not download any of them and will only open them in the browser and copy paste the Chinese text into the forum here? We try to protect you from the Chinese communist government so we would have rather tried to eliminate the risks than giving you the chance to take them. Let me know and meanwhile I will consult with HP Cobra to see if anything else can be done but if not I will upload them all at once on mega and give the link to you.

Hello. I've discussed with HP Cobra and there is a way for you to do translations without having to download anything in your computer. Please check your protonmail as I've introduced you in the discussion so you can join. My email starts with `a` and ends in 7, don't give it to anybody as it's not public anywhere. I will try to be active there as well and help you with everything I can.

I'm in. I am going to translate "The Doctrines of Satan". Is it fine to directly post here after I finish or any other plan for this?
