So I have something similar to celiacs disease and it's really getting in the way. I can hardly eat anything without doubling over in pain. So since this is a health group I figured I'd ask for some advice. Is there a meditation to help relieve pain? And is there anything I can do about the disease in general?

When you say something similar to celiac disease, what do you mean by that?

This condition sounds terrible and I feel for you not being able to enjoy food. I would like to ask you a few questions to maybe offer some help with this condition?

How soon after eating do you get the pain? What is the location of the pain and how does it feel to you?

Yes, I am also sorry to know that you are going through this. In addition to what CentralForce has asked about the disease, what other symptoms do you have? Anything about the disease tat you can mention as these all help to come to a conclusion on things to help you help yourself.
Perhaps it is Crohns disease.ย

You can raise your energies and program and direct them to heal you. Or breathe in the sun into your body and program it to heal you. Breathe in the sun 108x

"When you say something similar to celiacs disease, what do you mean by that?"
It's close to celiacs but less extreme. I don't need to be hospitalized after eating wheat but I can get sick for a few days and sometimes weeks.

"How soon after eating do you get the pain?"
Either immediately or a few minutes later.

"What is the location of the pain and how does it feel to you?"
Pain is in my stomach The pain is difficult to describe. It's sharp but dull at the same time and depending on what I ate, it can be very intense.

"What other symptoms do you have?"
My body purges basically everything one way or another.(sorry it's gross)
The smell of bread makes me nauseous so if I'm shopping with my mother and they're baking bread, I need to cover my nose or leave.
Corn and any product with corn in it will give me a reaction
I don't have any energy after or during the reaction.
And for some reason I always get cold when I'm reacting. I'm not sure if that ties in or not.

"Anything about the disease that you can mention as these all help to come to a conclusion on things to help you help yourself."

It's semi-severe and if gluten touches my food I get very sick. I do not need to go to the hospital but the reactions are getting pretty bad so I might need to be soon. My grandmother almost died because of gluten so I'm very concerned. Though after I started meditation it's happened less with corn (still happens though) but wheat will really hurt even if it's only a sprinkle of it.

Was wondering if anyone had commented further on this. I have a number of friends who are in the same boat - gluten sensitive, and my sister, who is actually full-on celiac (if any gluten touches her she's hospitalized, and almost died once). Would love to hear what the responses were from our SS health gurus.

Well I can tell you this about gluten, and I heard this during my education.. That over the past 100 years they increased the amount of gluten into the food, wheats especially and they often add more of it in the bread itself.

Even people that normally don't have any reaction can get ill when they are older because the overdosing on this stuff just made them not tolerate it anymore.

So what they were saying is that basically it is not healthy to eat in any way and the best way to eat 'healthy' bread (without that gluten overdose) is when you bake it yourself.

Sucks though I guess, having to rely on other foods but bread, although that could be just how one sees things.

Also forgot to add.. That sometimes people are gluten sensitive but they don't notice it. All they have is some vague problems like being tired all the time.

Do you have any other health concerns which seem or do not seem related to the illness?

Stress or anxiety, sleeping difficulties, headaches etc.?
