I don't know how, but one time I was talking to my mother. About how energy works manifestations, so forth. I just could believe why she had said to me that my aura is of the color black. I think of colors nd the power over us, we'll black is that something good to have around my aura?

Does your mother meditate? Does she have any knowledge of how energy works? Does she know your a SS, that could be the reason she thinks your aura is black. Black is not a good color for your aura. If she was just being a bitch about the whole situation I would forget what she said to you. Keep your aura bright.

Black is a color best used on your enemies. Though the JoS section on colors says black and red are colors of the base chakra and black is one of the strongest colors.
If you use it on yourself it must always be supplanted with another color. I could actually cloak myself with it long before dedicating. I was always like a walking shadow however after dedicating and studying I have been avoiding this color except for what I wear.
Black is best used as a cloak, a means of containing other energies or a weapon. When used on yourself it must be mixed with other energies or it becomes destructive.

Black could also be a very deep purple. This is the colour of the crown chakra.

If your aura is dirty it will likely become grey, as grey is the most destructive of energies. I have noticed when I have looked at my aura to clean it after doing curses or even when I have felt myself getting sick in the past it has been a grey tinge, not black.
