Subject: Re: Becoming a true Satanists
I've been reading here for quite a while now - I know I started about 2 years ago but lately a lot more the last 3 months.
Last night I just read the Satanic Bible for the very first time.
I actually found that I really enjoyed it and agreed with it, and don't remember reading anything that specifically disagrees with
anything I've learned or read yet here either.
Except for the further clarification and information from High Priestess Pythia regarding the Enochian chants and here warnings
as to NOT use circles when invoking & evoking demons, and HamShemphorash - not to use it.
So as for the vast majority of things which LaVey wrote and believed
I am not aware - except for one big major difference here we believe in Satan and his demons as real actual existing beings which we can have relationship with.
As far as any other specific things I can't think of any that I know of, or recall seeing in the Satanic Bible but would greatly appreciate it if somebody knows and can explain more.

I'm sure if you read the Satanic Bible you understand that Anton LaVey and his church are materialist atheists, correct? Have you read the JOS site? If you have you'll see that we disagree with the vast majority of the things that LaVey wrote and believed.
IF you want a deeper understanding of our spiritual Satanism, then please read the Joyofsatan site. Especially the headings "Satan", and "Spiritual Satanism."
Hail Satan.

I can't say that I'm really a Satanist. Actually, until recently I considered myself an atheist. However, deep inside I've always felt that there was more to life than just the physical- that which we can see, feel and touch. After reading the Satanic Bible I felt compelled to learn more about Satanism. The book seemed to reflect a lot of what I myself thought about Christianity and other denominations. Therefore, I joined this group to obtain more information about Satanism.
I would like to learn more from an experienced Satanist. Looking forward to hearing from members of the Satanic community.
