A Satanist's Funeral ; How It should be ?

Greetings my fellow sisters and brothers ,

Since none may have been wondered , there isn't any info on this subject at anywhere ; at least I think so .. If we get on the point , the question is ; How a satanist's funeral should be ? Should the body be burned ? or buried ? or burnt and buried ? or burnt and thrown in ocean ? There are many ways , It may be opened to our will maybe but which one would fit to a satanist , be a grateful one to Lord Satan ..?

I was actually discussing this the other day with some people from my college course (obviously not saying what religion I was).
I came to the conclusion that cremation wasn't a good idea, i'm not sure why exactly, it just didn't feel right. Like destroying my physical body might be bad, If we're buried our bodies decompose and the nutrients from our bodies goes into the earth. If we're burned alot of that energy/nutrients would be destroyed I'd say. Father Satan cares about nature alot so our bodies putting nutrients into the ground could be a good thing.

So I say burial, but in a cemetery that has no religious preference (like obviously don't get buried in a christian cemetery). If I had a choice i'd say bury me in the woods or something, away from all of the others.

Although since there's nothing really official about it I think it's just a do as you want sort of affair, aslong as it feels right to you

This is true Shannon, but there are those who don't reach this goal. And its good to have a plan laid out of how one wants to be burried before unknowing 'loved ones' go and dump you in some graveyard behind a church.
But I agree. It isn't something that should be thought about or focused on much at all. Hence why there is not much info on it, it simply doesn't matter in Satanism. Our main goal and focus is to raise ourselves above death and become that which we were meant, Gods.

It dosn't matter. Whatever you would like. There are no 'rules' to it. Obviously you wouldn't want to be burried in some graveyard behind a church.

My plan is to either be burnt, and my ashes burried with a tree, and grow into a tree. Or my corpse burried with a simple wooden box, so it can break down and rot, and a tree planted above me to feed off my nurtients.

My other is to be burnt on a funeral pyre. But I'm not sure.

I'd say cremation, there are enough rotting corpses and coffins in the ground. Think of all the trees that are cut down to make room for more. People dying all the time, that's a lot of space dug each year into the earth. Eventually, people are going to realize we're running out of room, and they will have to dig them all up and burn them.

During the Black Plague, people were dying so quickly that they had to dig up old bodies and put them in underground caverns to make room for new bodies. I watched something on tv about it, and they showed the old skeletons lined up everywhere. Thousands of them. Or maybe those were skeletons from something else that happened, but my point stays the same.

Cremate, the ashes have lots of nutrients, put them in a garden or something, or on a new tree, have it be like a "in memory of" tree (just a suggestion).

Well I will half to say that when the body is buried they don't really decompose right away they are embalmed with mixture of formaldehyde, methanol, and other solvents. And the nutrients from our bodies don't go into the earth. The coffins are placed in a cement burial vault that in cases the coffin and well cemeteries require that. I found that out when my family buried my uncle a month ago, the funeral home told us white chapel a big cemetery here in Michigan requires the cement vault to be placed in the ground and then the coffin is set in it and the cement lid is placed on top to close it and the reason why we was told so the coffin will not collapse from the weight of the dirt and the grave not to settle with a low spot where the coffin is, and so for the landscape will remain level

How do you know that, did you find their tombs or bodies? HP Don explained that it never happened before, nobody found the tombs of some of them. It's highly likely that some of them did become immortal.

How long is going to take for a body to completely decompose depends on many factors (environment, temperature, if its buried or not, if there are insects or animals etc). When the body is buried very deep underground is going to take a lot more for it to decompose. The stage where the corpse is blue/green and stinks is reached in a few days, depending on where the corpse is buried. This process takes longer when there are cold and dry conditions. When the corpse is in a coffin the whole process obviously is slower. In like a year all that is left is the skeleton and teeth with some tissue on them. The complete decomposition, where there is no tissue at all and the bones are all dried takes decades.

I think this may be the case as well. I think about it as an allegory of sorts that represents an extremely advanced, evolved, and empowered soul. If it took the gods and other advanced extraterrestrials thousands, or millions of years for individual members and their races to evolve to where they are today, how could we even dream of becoming close to their level in such a short amount of time. Yes, they could teach it, since they have done it themselves (especially Satan), but it would probably take much, much longer than ten or twenty years, or in a single lifetime even. We evolved from primates, but can we teach primates how to become like humans? I am not saying that we were lied to or anything like that, but it just may not be possible for humanity now. I do believe that we will be able to get there someday.

On second thinking this actually makes more sense than burying

Although burying would mean a decay and putting nutrients into the ground around you ashes also have nutrients that help any plant life.

I guess if you're buried in a graveyard you'll be surrounded by alot of gray energy which i'm going to say might be a bad idea.
Spreading your ashes means there won't be that buildup of grey energy surrounding your remains

I say let it be an open casket funeral, if you are a widely loved person it could bring out some intense emotions from people that highly respected you when they see your body for the last time. Or you could go with cremation and just put the ashes in an old mayonnaise jar, save that bread (money)

<td val[/IMG]I am thinking you have never had the ashes of a loved one.No fucking way it will fit in a mason jar.It would take a half of a dozen of them.The box they put my mothers ashes in was about 1 foot wide 6 inches in depth and 2 feet high.Its a cool box that I use to keep ritual tools in still to this day.

I would recomend that you plan out a funeral for yourself and not have loved ones do it. As I've said on other replies here, you don't want to end up behind some church. Another thing that was mentioned was the enacsing the coffin in cement, which completely stops decay, therefore not giving back anything to the earth. As well as what was said about the deforestation to make room for graves ect, again not good for the environment or Earth.
We spend our lives taking and taking from the Earth. Unfortunatly way more than we need these days. And then in the end when we die, we give nothing back. We lock ourselves away from the ground so the Earth can't take anything back from us. This is unnatural and not how it should be.

I'm not saying you can't have an open casket, and if its what you want then go ahead. Just think about where you might end up.

You have a mindset problem. Do you really think you are going to live in this situation for the rest of your life?
