Everyone is doing this for different motives. It's good to be honest about your motives. One's motives can be different.
Yes there is major ego-based incentive for someone to help ToZ. You get a lot as an individual by this; massive growth, power, spiritual powers that give you over time tremendously life advantages. Spirituality acts on you directly and there is a net benefit that provides a superior advantage toward others for life. In that context, you are gaining a direct evolutionary advantage to face life with.
The personal advantages for following Zevism are in themselves too many to count. It's a whole package of a total addition that comes over the individual and can unlock their most powerful individual version in all levels if adhered loyally.
A lot of people just seek personal power. This is very normal and acceptable in Zevism, to want to grow as an individual. This mentality has a cap at some point and one unavoidably will eventually have to look past this and ask "is there more?". Yes, you can max out as an individual and individuality has it's limits also.
Further, look at the Hall of Osiris. As I have reiterated many times before, we need powerful individuals. Powerful personalities; people can evolve in there for personal or for collective incentive, yet the major power unlocks when one combines that ego with the collective effort. One is then literally unlocking a new level of power.
Other people, can merely adopt Zevism or support it because they are fed up with the hate, irrationality or insanity by the enemy. They just don't want the world to be ruled by lunacy and foolishness anymore. These people can be more philosophical, but they are not truly Zevists yet, they are evolving there.
There are people who can say "you know what, enough with this crap of mainstream religions and their insanity, we fought many religious wars as it were and superstition or retardation has reached an all time high". "I don't want this bible which says dash the infants of the Assyrians against the stones nor this evil of the enemy". Totally valid argumentation, in fact. This is how I also began combined with what I will describe below. That's the aspiring Zevist coming from the sphere of justice and reaction. Totally valid still. That's perfectly acceptable also.
Here however, because this is opposition based, it's not the complete picture yet.
Categories of people can also come to Zevism for technical means; a pursuit in their life, the need to achieve something and requiring Divine Assistance to that end. Totally valid also.
Another person can adopt Zevism out of pure curiosity as in "my instinct tells me there is something here, let me try that". Other people can join for academic interest, or because they want to see if the Gods actually exist. If Zevism is adhered to, it will answer this also, that yes they definitely do exist and the means provided are real.
Lastly we have people who have been with the Gods before and when they see the Gates to Initiation they rush inside; as if this was always the case and re-impart themselves. All are totally valid reason to join. They will see this place and in a few days, their soul will attract them powerfully to the Gods or to a particular God in order to continue, likely from where they left of, in a previous lifetime. These can become really passionate people in Zevism and tend to understand it also fast. The person has been brought before in their journey in a form of "readiness" that is easier to impart the mechanics.
The above factors can also combine or interplay. That's the best way to approach Zevism.
Still, just ego which is a most powerful motivator and totally valid, is not all of it, nor to just be curious answers everything, neither to be just acting on impulse. When the approaches of collective, egoic, reactionary and well-founded are combined, one unlocks Zevism faster. Zevism has even more to give you, same as the Gods. It doesn't stop there.
When the above connect, one starts crossing over to other things: Love for the Gods, knowing their existence as a fact, knowing this method that helped you can help others who are worthwhile beings, and one starts imagining a different world where people are actually more evolved. That's when the function of collective advancement is understood.
The most beautiful thing is when all of these have finally aligned. This is when the individual unclocks this place. The path unlocks as you go, it's like you enter a parellel life that you have to learn from the beginning. One must be reassured that as they move forward, all will start making more and more sense, they will receive more and more personal power, their personality will grow.
