I’ve been alone for a very long time, and I’ve grown accustomed to it. After years of being let down by society and failed attempts to socialize, I’ve given up. Not because I’m weak, but because I want to preserve my mental resources. But this burden weighs on me, and I don’t know what to do with it. What weighs on me is that this whole world is tied to socialization, and without it, it’s impossible to build a life worthy of a Zevist. I’m too freedom-loving, and I refuse to submit to anyone or make compromises. Only for the sake of the Gods did I finally emerge from the darkness to connect with other kindred spirits. Maybe someone can give me advice on how to survive in the modern world as a recluse?
Society is meant to be lived in a civilized environment. The great Zevista personalities grew because they opened themselves up to the collective. Social isolation due to pain and/or past hurts might be temporary, but it will ultimately lead to stagnation.
Don't make decisions based on pain or past experiences, because then it's not true freedom, only partial or some kind of illusion of freedom.
What matters here is what you actually do about it and how you confront it. One way to open yourself up to social issues is through ToZ , by helping and/or creating new things for the community. Blessing rituals also help with this gradually. ToZ is the best place to begin opening yourself up to the collective.
Learn everything you can, because growth happens with people; that's where you truly learn and where you can apply what you've learned.
Besides giving you purpose and happiness by engaging with society, you also have the opportunity to embody divinity. Society is part of you; if you reject humanity for any reason, it's like rejecting yourself. And ultimately, the Gods live within humanity. I recently learned this and wrote about it, which I'll share here. This will help you gain perspective.
The Gods Speak Through Humanity
On our journey under the light of Father Zeus, it is vital to recognize that the greatest obstacle to revelation is often the ego. An unchecked ego not only isolates us but also silences our capacity to listen, creating a void where wisdom should reside. We must understand that the Gods possess infinite ways of manifesting themselves, but the words and actions of those around us are their most frequent channels.
Connecting with humanity and social processes is not a distraction from the spiritual path but a catalyst for exponential growth. Active listening is born of humility; it is the willingness to recognize that any person, regardless of their circumstances, can be the messenger of a teaching specifically designed for our learning. By listening to others, we are, in essence, listening to the divine inspiration at work within them.
Rejecting humanity is, ultimately, rejecting ourselves. This is not about blind sentimentality or excessive love, but about conscious, healthy, and balanced love. It is the recognition of the divine spark within the collective that allows for continuous and authentic progress. Absolute isolation is contrary to the nature of the cosmos; we are beings of connection.
Connection with civilization, both through the Temple of Zeus community and in our daily lives, allows us to perceive the presence of the Gods in the diversity of experiences. By integrating, we transform real life into a living altar.
Let us seek connection. Strengthening the collective fabric in the Temple of Zeus not only benefits the group but also accelerates the individual evolution of each member. Where two or more meet in purpose and truth, the voice of the Gods resonates with greater clarity.
The above is from my personal experiences and connection with the Gods, plus what I learned in the Temple of Zeus.
Can you imagine yourself spreading the Truth of the Eternal Gods, helping people to rediscover the spirituality that was taken from them? A year ago I couldn't, but felt a serious magnetism towards this holy duty. Ever since I started this, my personal evolution got seriously expedited. I guess...
