Autonomy from Planetary Karma

Normally, we are trying to escape the influence of the planets on our destiny.

However in my case, I find myself trying to delibarately mould my life to conform to my transits, because they are usually lucky, and either conducive to or actively help me achieve my goals.

Otherwise, things tend not to go my way, or horribly wrong, if I resist my transits.

So it feels like I am a slave to fate, but yet at the same time I benefit from this relationship to the planets.

I think I've done this for several lifetimes now, and my life feels like I'm trying to discover lost pages in a story book, rather than willful volition on my part.

Is this a bad habit, since I assume the Gods want us to become completely autonomous from planetary karma?

From what I read, karma is “work”. It’s building upon what you have already established (good and bad). It would be best to build upon the good karma and reverse/destroy the bad karma.

Our transits show how we grow, and the direction of our life. This is not "bad", it just is what it is. We develop autonomy as we advance further, but this doesn't mean we are supposed to fight our fate, especially if our fate is good.

It's a wise decision to go over one's transits and returns and see what is coming, and prepare accordingly, and take any opportunities that may arise. We aren't supposed to resist them, we are supposed to understand and prepare.

I assume the Gods want us to become completely autonomous from planetary karma?
This isn't quite correct. The Gods want us to know and understand, but we do evolve out of it when we advance enough. This doesn't mean we resist it in the meanwhile.

Thank you for the response HPS.

Is it possible to "ignore" your transits?

For example, if you had a very positive transit occurring in a specific area of life but decided to stay at home and do nothing instead.

Would the energies still find a way to manifest, or go as wasted potential?

E.g., a sudden event that would force you out?

Or would they just be felt as a minor pull towards that direction?
