I see nothing wrong with keeping the tree up all summer.  If you enjoy the lights, there is nothing wrong with it--Gentiles tend to enjoy a tree with extreme numbers of undersized lights scattered throughout the whole tree.  The number 144,000 is an indication of how many lights is optimal--obviously, you are never going to fit 144,000 lights on your tree.  But, more and smaller lights is better. You can decorate it as you see fit.  We might fit fake candles on the tree (never do real ones unless you wish a house fire) for Candlemas.  You want Valentines Day?  Use red, pink, and clear lights (LED's are the most energy efficient and barely make a scratch on your light bill for what you get).  St Patrick's Day?  Green.  You might also honor Astaroth around that time with eggs and rabbits hanging from the tree, with spring colored lights. During summer, use your imagination.  I am embarrassed to use red, white, and blue lights because this fucking country is so goddamn philo-Semite.  You could use those colors, if you feel like it.  Or, you could use bright colors.  Summer flowers and fruit decorations look good during the summer.  Bright yellow, orange, and red floral lights are nice on your tree.  You could incorporate more fruits to honor Lammas Day if you so choose. And let's not forget autumn.  Red, orange, yellow, and brown ornaments and lights on your tree now signify autumn.  Place orange fruit decorations, and whatever Halloween decorations you fancy (but I would leave out the more gruesome crime scene shit that people pass as "decoration" because Halloween is not about slaying people).  Pumpkin, gourds, orange and yellow flowers, fall leaves, and apple decorations are fine.  You might fancy spider, bat, or ghost decorations.  Use common sense--while a ghost is harmless, an image portraying Satan as a gruesome monster is not.  And, neither is having a scene with fake human limbs with fake blood. Very few items are actually taboo.  You can take advantage of the fact that everything christi-SCAM[/B]-ity has is stolen.  Your crosses can be used, provided they don't have that filthy rag hanging on it (and even if they do, you can still use them in black magick).  A cross with a starburst on it is acually perfect as it is much closer to the reality of the sun on the Cross of the Zodiac.  The nativity scene that we all love to hate so much actually tells the story of the sun rising on Christmas morning.  You could hang your crosses upside down.  About the only things I can think of that are absolutely taboo would be images of jewsus (whether alone or on the cross), using a LIE[/B]-ble to celebrate, going to church and participating in the ceremony, and anything that plays up jewsus more than the holiday itself. I know many will disagree with this.  You, and you alone, can determine whether you wish to celebrate Christmas in this fashion.  Your Guardian Demon knows you well, and whether or not you have a weakness and would likely be tempted into returning to church if you do a certain act.  But, one thing that is even worse is to let these holidays go into the dust.  I have been one of those joke-hova witlesses, and that's what they do.  No celebrating Christmas, no Easter (let alone its proper variant Ashtar), no Halloween, no nothing.  Many fundamentalist xians do the same thing, or reduce Christmas to a jewsus fest only.  They strip away the shopping, the gifts, the tree decorating, the music, and so on.  They leave only what you do NOT[/B] want--the jewsus shit.  I got Maxine's CD's, and it is right on those that we benefit from celebrating these holidays. It was the birth of the SUN as it was the point where the sun stopped moving for any degrees on its lowest point in the south for three days.     Yes, I celebrate Yule from the twenth to January the First. It is nice to have one big Holiday. I always hated Christians one day Holiday crap. It never gives any time for any real celebrating.   I do a Ritual on the night of the Twenth. Into the twenty first. Then one on the twenth. Then one on the night of the twenty second the most Holy Satanic Night Of The Entire Year. Then comes the twenty third Which is His Personal Day. Then the twenty fourth is the eve. Twenty Fifth the day of the sun. Then the rest of the days before new years an then to celebrate new years. lol   I love it. Its an eleven day Holiday.

Having been forced to celebrate Christmas to the extent that it becomes tangled with christi-SCAM[/B]-ity might be one reason to not want to do it any more.  It can also be a reason why your Guardian Demon wouldn't want you doing it--too much emphasis on jewsus and not enough on the other things.  In time, you might be able to celebrate it properly and not worry about being dragged back into christi-SCAM[/B]-ity. For me, it is the opposite.  While I was raised cat lick, I never did like the kike on a stick aspect of Christmas.  Therefore, it is more likely to be acceptable for me to do it.  Besides, I had a spell as one of joke-hova's witlesses.  I would be more likely to receive instructions to keep right on doing it, properly, to put more distance between myself and those joke-hova's witlesses.  For me, the bigger danger would be that of being fated to return in a future life in a family that are ultra-devout joke-hova's witlesses and be hermetically sealed in that cancer.  Once that happens, there is virtually no hope since they seal out any sources of information not coming from their leaders. Patience is the essence.  If you have adverse association between a holiday and some church, you might wish to hold off on fully celebrating it (properly, of course) until you are totally free from that religion.  For some, it can be many years even after we are strong Satanists.  For others, it might be a couple of years.  You might never be comfortable in this lifetime, and I do not advocate people being forced into celebrating what makes them uncomfortable.  At any rate, it is almost finished. Indeed! I got the pink purple and orange ones at kmart in the dollar section, the orange is peachy and yummy! I seached for like 3 years for my yellow lemon scented candles cuz i could never find lemon ones, and wanted it for glasya-labolas, the green and white ones i got from drug mart. Speaking of.... YANKEE CANDLES IS MAKING A BLACK CANDLE THIS YEAR! Its black coconut scented, i seen them on ebay, i guess they are suppossed to come out spring 2013! Im excited.
